This is totally the most proper of things and the absolute pinnacle of being, WOW! From the set to the vibes to the sax v. bass solo. Un-freaking-real.
The best lineup was the original with David Benoit, Bill Lanphier, Brandon Fields and Tony Morales. Not ever mentioned are bassists Jimmy Johnson and Steve Bailey. Real Rippingtons purist go back to the very beginning.
this is not just the Rippingtons, it's like an All Star Band. Everyone are name brand artist!
Jeff Kashiwa is the BEST.
I love the percursionist!! he has such a good vibe!!!

Killer sax lead from Jeff! Absolute killer!
Saw them in Charlotte NC in like, 2016. Would love to see them again.
Jeff can really play that sax..dude is awesome
these guys are awesome............... !!!!!!!!!
This was the best lineup. I got to open for this lineup many times in the late 90s and they slayed!
What a treat!
Kim Stone +Keith Roscoe=KILLER BASS!!!!!!!!
Hi Rippingtons! Please come to play to Guatemala.
Perhaps the 2nd best lineup. Mark Portman and Tony Morales were great contributions
That's the real Rips

@@clicks59 I think the best lineup was the members from Live in L.A., but the original is also good.
@@MewsOvercast Here’s the original lineup.

Another dimension
I agree they have had the best sax players with those names.
Ya Kim Stone 👍
5 stars...one for each person in the audience.
LOL. Oh but to be in that audience...the privileged few.
Please come to Guatemala again Rippingtons.
STEVE REID has to put back into the band. The man is unbeatable on percussion for this kind of music. No Ripps without Steve, imho.
i agree with you 100% without him not the same .
Got to see them live in Boulder for the "Tourist" release. He is where incredible talent and energy meet.
I loved seeing Steve Reid live wit the band in Salt Lake around 1990, he's amazing.
It's a great song!! I like Jeff's style but in this song I prefer Nelson Rangell sound :)
Dave Kochanski was great on keys!
Desde el 91 me enamoré de está musica sensacional
The Rippingtons even had some underrated keyboardist, like David Benoit and Gregg Karukas.
Yup!!! All that a jar of Skippy.
Please, what's the name of the intro song?, just before Jewel Thieves?, thanks for such a good music!!👍👍
Album is Russ Freeman Drive from 2002. Song is called Guitarland
