Pretty cool trick with that tape to hold it together
Yes, the tape trick works great. Thanks for watching.
So lovely. I really like the walnut.
It's a beautiful wood 🪵 thank you.
Novel leg look and attachment. Enjoyable build.
Yes, sure was. I thought it would be a quick build but I never expected the video ending up being 26 minutes. Thanks
Hals Wood Shop. Thanks Take a basic box. vary one or two things and teach us something new. I like it. Thanks. Waiting for the next. Be Safe. Nice Shop.
Thanks Hal. I really appreciate that.👍🏿
Roger, cutting the top on the Table saw is a pretty standard method. It the box were bigger it would really be the normal way to do it. This is really a nice gift.
Hey thanks Dann, I gave this to my wife Pam. She loves it. I got the wood from the side of the road. Then I waited for it to dry out. Farm to table kinda thing..lol
very nice build!!
Thank you.
Good tips, tricks and techniques demonstrated (if one were paying attention) in this video. Now, if only I had someone worthy of a beautiful box like that.
Thanks for truly watching. I hope you find someone or think of someone worthy.
@@WoodShopStop Bless you, man. I like watching you work. People like you are the salt of the earth. All the best. I do, truly, have someone in mind.

I am enjoying your work! I’m about to start making some boxes for Christmas presents and appreciate your tips!
It, thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying watching the videos. That was a really enjoyable build that box I made last year. I hope yours come out great.
New Sub here! Good work!
Welcome. Thanks for the sub and thanks for watching.
👍
Thank you.
Very nice gift idea. I even have some walnut just begging to be used. Another good project idea, thanks Rog.
Thank you, don't delay xmas will be here before you know it. It was a fun little project.
Gorgeous build! Really nice touch with the see-through legs, and the walnut oil was definitely the right choice. And I I'm excited to see what you did with the downed tree for a while back - awesome video!
thanks Chris, I tried to get creative with the box I know a lot of people make boxes all the time and I don't think I've seen them with legs on them like that especially with the see-through window. I still have some of that wood left and I'm trying to think of what I could do with it next. Stay tuned.
Hey buddy, I’m new here. I don’t know if you have a video about it or what but I’m very curious how you got into woodworking? Everyone always has a very unique interesting story on why so I’m curious to hear yours.
Thanks for watching the video. I'm overdue for a bio video I'll put something together soon. Thanks again.
Personally, i would have used glue and my 16 guage air nailer on the legs
I thought about that too. Thanks for watching the video and commenting
