There is also a local bus as well here is a link to check out www.thailandee.com/en/transportation-thailand/bus/buses-from-hua-hin-to-cha-am#transporttype-bus But around town they have a Songtaew which is the Ute that you can jump in the back of and between 20-50 baht depending on how far you want to go you can jump on and off wherever you like.
