+1 on the idea of focusing on an avatar not a niche

@@JoshRyan This is a great piece of advice. Bc more people act from a place of identity rather than information. I feel like that sounds good. Might have to use that one 😂

started watching this on the side while doing some admin work. Ended up stopping everything I was doing to just sit and listen to your story. Tom, thanks for making this video, this was eye opening, you made my day 💙

I hit subscribe when you talked about your parents. You proved your own point about context setting. Well done.
This is the first of your videos I’ve ever watched. And I just didn’t post a TikTok bc I didn’t think it was good.
So the timing was great. I really enjoy your piano in the background. 🎹

Hard to quantify how important this video is mate, and how insanely valuable it is.
I’d have never picked you for a supercars fan, and yet I can see exactly why Bathurst means so much, and as a result how it makes you so much more relatable to me.
I’ve recorded 3 voice memos with my own content ideas while I’ve been watching this!
*fuck! Just got to the last 5mins, and there’s this wet shit in my face! Absolutely love the candid honesty, and I’m even happier that I was part of cohort 6 now I know this about you.
Please keep up the great work!

this is so huge!! can‘t believe that you just freestyle that but at the same time it makes a lot of sense to become so great at speaking with such a huge amount of practice. You are my greatest inspiration on the internet and honestly a big fucking reason why I do a lot of the stuff that is working for me. Already saving up for the cohort in the beginning of next year.

I'm only at 3:46 but not having a "niche"is terrible advice. When you start making content, no one cares about you. It's only when you develop a following do people start to follow you for you not the content necessarily. A BETTER piece of advice is show your personality in the videos you make.

I keep saying this about every thing you produce but wow it just keeps getting better. You talk about authenticity here and towards the end you can definitely see it clear as day! Loved this. You are inspiring. Now I just need to take actions with all the thing I’ve been listening to you say for years!
    Anyway loved this. Keep inspiring.
Also a how you stay productive video or a day in your life/work video please 😂

His words hit different than any other creator I’ve seen on here. As a dad creator who is on this platform, he makes me believe I am on the right track. He’s a unique soul. I don’t think I look forward to any other creator.

"Bad actors that give this entire space a bad name, were shitty people, to begin with". Man, you killed this video.
The way you connected it to your personal life, was just at another level.
Looking forward to see what other videos you have in the future! Alerts are on.
