I loved it! In fact, I'm a TH-cam loyalist with increasing ADHD, meaning I watch a video for seconds, pause it, go to another video, pause it, rinse it, and repeat it more and more. It's maddening! Your channel is the first in (a long time) for me where I actually watched 2 of your videos FROM START TO FINISH WITHOUT INTERRUPTION! Your advice is spot-on and engaging. I look forward to following you and learning from you.
It gets even better, I look for it in every video I watch or anything I read. I also can’t help but pay attention to the length of the sentences in written texts I read.😅
…the world is moving faster than ever - our new knowledge grows every 24 hours, where it used to take weeks.. months.. years… decades! Much appreciate this direct piece!
Amazing video with valuable tips and insights on how to succeed on any social media platform and make decent income. You never disappoint with your content, and I can't wait to apply these strategies (and a bit of Famester as well), and see massive growth on my social media accounts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
wow, I'm a video editor and animator and today I took about an hour to just conceptualize where I think content is going. You basically put into words everything I've been thinking. I couldn't agree more: AI is already taking some SDR roles (sales) and outbound has become so spammy that it just doesn't work that well anymore (at least not as well as it used to, especially in tech). I think organic social around creators is going to be the competitive advantage, maybe even for massive enterprise companies, though legacy brands will be hesitant to adapt.
Good God your channel is gold. This format works too. I love the strategic breakdowns as I’m building my business. To me these are all extensions of the broader niche. I’m here for all of it.
🤔The cool thing is that I just recently subscribed and as an Integrated Communication Designer I know fundamentally why 😂. Everything "think" you say in this video is true and linked in an informative architectural framework that flowers the TH-cam Algorithmic and the current sociatal behavior of humans in the creative and emotional consequence organizational distruction industry.
Yah bro. Sales is going to be actually more needed then anything else. And developed. For people that don’t truly know jack sheeeeet about business. Listen to this kid. Real companies have cold calling teams and actual salespeople who can close. But glad you have your channel. I have more suckers to train and teach in a year.
@@JonNathaniel-s5z appreciate you for saying this….needed a good laugh. Sales jobs will be absolutely run over in 5 years tops, maybe 3. If I were you, I’d rack the commissions for the next 24 months while you still can, maybe buy a little Bitcoin and pray to god it becomes the reserve currency. The only salvation for human sales agent *might* be the rare case where the buyer is so old and gray haired that they’d rather sleep outside than watch AI agents take their purchase from their old golf buddy, Paul. Maybe this happens 1% of the time…maybe. For every one of those, 99 of the other buyers will take whoever is offering the lower rate…and these will be from AI sales agents (which btw, they’ll have no clue are AI) Think of it this way…when you hire a closer, what do you then do? You train them with scripts, handbooks, lessons, trainings…maybe you give them a little hairgel so they can have a backup in case Paul Mitchell never runs another sale You think a 2.4 GPA high school dropout from South Boston that you train to dial the phone and read from a piece of paper is gonna outrun the most sophisticated computer models in the world that never need breaks, don’t take vacation, don’t need fresh Patagonia vests, and train themselves? Lol…they will feed your training materials to voice AI that will run circles around your salespeople. Like I said, I have friends that are in sales, HR, legal, accounting and all these roles. I don’t want them to lose their jobs, but I don’t make the rules. You’ve got 5 years tops…Tell Northwestern Mutual to batten down the hatches, these things are going to absolutely run you over.
I think you’ll be ahead of the curve. You’re talking about a similar topic as other creators but in a way that adds your perspective which makes the video unique. Thank you!
Banger video man. Really great perspective, It’s tough to not want to branch out to new topics. I thought you deleted other videos until I realized this is a separate channel. I guess that’s the move if you don’t want to upset the algorithm
Doubling down in one niche makes sense. However, we are travel creators so we go from country to country making content. This means our audience changes with each new country. We can have one video get 500k views and then we move to the next country and the video will get 20K views. This is very noticeable this year and we are not growing as fast. Can you give us any recommendations on the best strategy for travel creators. Thanks 🙏🏼
Here's a tip for content creators :- You should start dubbing your videos in different languages, it will break the language barrier and you can reach a global audience which will give major ad revenue and you will grow much faster.
@zaqwerty22 see this is needs to be Researched carefully, both options have their pros and cons In my suggestion, You can start with a single channel and add language dubbing as you grow. As your audience expands and you have more resources, you can consider creating separate language-specific channels for a more focused approach. But this highly depends on your target audience, niche, category, TH-cam Algorithm, etc. SO DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST.
I plan to start my TH-cam channel but I am struggling to decide if I should use English or Mandarin. Do you suggest that I should create two different TH-cam channels and post same content in two different languages ?
I’ve been helping influencers manage their opportunities for several years and see exactly what you are talking about. Nano and micro influencers will have massive opportunities.
This video was massive! Thank you for creating it. I’m just getting started in creating but have a background in scaling brands. Headed to your Skool to keep the learning going.
Wow, it was a great overview of the current state of social! I’m a content creator in the data and AI front and agree that AI is an enabler that may help both viewers and especially creators to gain a competitive advantage. Loving the content, also curious about the content creation process that you use to create a typical video
This video was so helpful!! I have been making TH-cam videos for almost 14 years and things have definitely changed. My variety content isn’t getting as many. Maybe time to niche down a little.
Thank you for diving deep into it and breaking it down very clearly. I have been trying to examine social media viewer habits as well, but it’s always more helpful when someone else has already done it and I can use their knowledge. again thank you. 💯
This was the first video I've seen of yours and I can say I was excited but then disappointed when you said this isn't your usual style of content lol This was very informative and I'm able to paint a clearer picture of how I want to show up online. thank you for sharing 🙏
the "for you page" format isn't because of tiktok. it's because these companies realized the subscriber format gave individuals too much power to generate money without them getting any (via sponsorships, endorsement deals, direct product sales, etc)
Hey Kallaway, love the content! I appreciate your perspective on topics like these, it's helpful for thinking about the future and moving forward. Your mix of thought-provoking explanations and actionable frameworks has been extremely valuable. Therefore, alternating between videos that share your insights and those focused on frameworks feels like a great approach. Also, I think the reason I'm finding your content so valuable is because you’re not just laying out the steps but also sharing the psychology and thought process behind them (referring to some of your other videos). Thanks for that :)
Glad I clicked! Answered some of the exact questions I’ve been asking myself as I’m thinking about my strategy for my small business launch. Subscribed & looking forward to more genuine insights that isn’t just the same scripted growth advice as everyone else.
Out of all channels out there doing this content, in your words, i definitely think you're the disruption. Keep going!! Subscribed, and looking forward to the next videos :D
This is great, and so helpful as a small creator. I film dance, and I've done work for Red Bull Dance before and I can tell you that they definitely have networks of pages and act strictly within those. But it actually makes it easier for them to work with creators because each page has their own separate audience. Subbed! 💯
This is one of the most insightful videos I've watched on content creation in a while. Came from your storytelling video, you have such a captivating way of creating content!
appreciate you. The secret is that I have the SM7B running through a Rodecaster Pro II (you don't need this model but I find the preamps are buttery), and then I'm recording directly into Logic and I have a vocal chain that the audio runs through. The vocal chain is: - EQ (Stock Logic One)...I cut the lows pretty hard at 70 HZ and boost a top shelf at 5400 Hz and up. Also slight reductive drops where the frequencies honk with my voice - Second EQ (Stock Logic One)...3.7db bump at 3720 Hz (.93 is the width of the curve) - Compressor (Stock Logic One)...Threshold -20, ratio 2, knee .7, attack 15, release 50 It's simple, but the EQ both boosts the highs (makes it sparkle), cuts the lows (gets rid of the boomy tone), and then reduces bad frequencies in my voice I had the shure for a while and could never get it to sound good. Was using standard cloudlifter setup into the Focusrite 2i2...still sounded bad. The Rodecaster preamps make it sound so much better on my voice
Damn bro ...this was good. Ive never heard of you. This is thr first im coming across your content. Such good, substantial predictions and advice on how to capitalize on it. I love it.
This is a lot of fun.....I like the excitement. I was saying pass ...pass on two...pass on three....you get the idea. But then....When you mentioned short form tied to a product I realized my videos stink because I bury my best elements deep in the video. I had thought of a best of just for myself. Today I realized that all my best of could be the short form you describe...only not to draw traffic but to market products. A second channel? Hmmm

I truly appreciate u giving us all of these relevant tips, Kallaway! Thank you for being so detailed; I think if there's one thing u forgot to mention, it's huge long-form videos too where people are just discussing at extensive length about a topic that's fun (or compilations too!)

Thank you so much for making this video. As I’ve been trying to have several different niches, and I have seen that it is not working at all. So I’m going to stick to one niche. Thank you 🙏🏻
Hey, I really like your content. The honesty and also the foresight are of great importance. I've been an entrepreneur for 12 years and have experienced many ups and downs. Originally I come from the online marketing swamp and have been able to experience digitization, as well as everything that came with it, from the entrepreneur's perspective. Highs and lows. You speak from my soul and it's great that you also address these opportunities, but also the potential obstacles. Thank you for the video. P S this is not the main reason for my message, so off-topic: I have built just such a Human to Human Network in the last few weeks. If you'd like, I'd be happy to let you review it. It's a combination of the best elements of current social media and not just in a monetary sense, although that is of course also an important part, but also includes the option of going private with e.g. a paywall or via a lead funnel etc...
I usually avoid channels talking about social media through an entrepreneurial approach because I feel like I’ve heard it all - but this perspective / info feels fresh
Great question! I have two niches right now (tech & AI) and then (content/marketing). On shorts, I do tech & AI and then on long-form/newsletter, I do content/marketing. I would recommend you pick one of the 3 niches, even if it feels too small, and build out a channel specifically for that niche. Eventually, as they gets bigger and becomes profitable, if you want to restart and build a second channel for the second niche, you should do that. Having more than one niche per channel is the fastest way to grow slow (I learned the hard way)
I want to start a mini series soon. I feel that social media is becoming a small media hub for every creator and each can become their own TV series :)
Hey kallway I noticed you started this as a second channel? I follow you on your other youtube channel. What's the strategy for you starting both? Why two separate channels now?
Starting this second channel was the best thing I could have done! I had my original channel (youtube.com/@kallaway), but I was posting 4 different types of content (tech videos, marketing/content strategy. lifestyle vlogs, podcast interviews). I assumed this would work because it would make me unique, sharing the combo of all my interests. Turns out, this was actually the worst possible strategy. TH-cam's algorithm is optimized for audience matching. It wants to find an audience that your video is good for and then go back to that audience for the next video. The closer and more tightly you can aim that targeting, the better the videos will do. What I was doing on my main channel by making content about 4 different topics was targeting 4 different types of audiences. This meant that I was confusing the algorithm. Even when I had the Zuck interview break out, the next video had nothing to do with tech. This confusion meant that none of my videos were doing well. I realized that I either needed to pick 1 of the 4 topics and go all-in on that or I needed to break out into separate channels. By doing this, it allowed the algorithm to target only the audience I wanted for each type of content. As soon as I did this, this channel started working (and the tech channel started growing as well)

Literally same.. omg this made me laugh 😂😂😂
Damn. Now I have to go backwards to see what y'all are talking about. 😂
It gets even better, I look for it in every video I watch or anything I read. I also can’t help but pay attention to the length of the sentences in written texts I read.😅
I’m definitely looking for it a lot more.
I’ve written a couple content drafts, and I can already see a difference.

Having more than one niche per channel is the fastest way to grow slow (I learned the hard way)
Social media is always changing
Let’s try it!! ❤
I want to start a mini series soon. I feel that social media is becoming a small media hub for every creator and each can become their own TV series :)
Thanks for the gem 👍 . But I really have some massive engagement drop on my channel without changing anything. Please what could have gone wrong .
What do you mean? Like you had one video not get a ton of views? Can you send a screenshot
I meant engagements are getting lower and I didn't change the content style. Where can I send the screenshots and this is the affected channel.
Thanks for reminding us to keep learning.
I think this guy is very clever.
Thanks for the useful info.
Appreciate you 🫡
Absolutely loved this!! 👊🏽
Favorite video so far. 💪
Per usual, great work. . . . . I agree with everything you are saying.
Very very very good video. I agree. Instagram definitely will also be copying TikTok and so will TH-cam etc
Good video and a lot of working theories with no proof given. I would push back on legal, sales, accounting, and HR never being AI’d away.
Thanks man for your video! That was great and learned so much 🙏🏽
🙌 great video!
As soon as I did this, this channel started working (and the tech channel started growing as well)
@@kallawaymarketing that's amazing to hear! Thanks for sharing ❤️
This is good stuff!
Please make a video on the strategy of content for businesses!
Could you make a video about starting the group and community. How to do it and what not to do.
