Candy Girl is not scary but she is annoying. At any point she could have been flat out killed. The willful disregard of your own safety just makes you look stupid - not scary.

The first purge movie explains it all. Remember THE SENATOR is there to be protected if everyone starts shooting at each other the senator won’t make it out to Election Day. They don’t want blood on their hands, they don’t more ppl to show up, they just want to be left alone and the candy girls reinforcements are creating a hole in the fence that guards the protagonists king chess piece which is the senator

Honestly the streets seemed pretty quiet compared to other purges. Most of the people out there were all together, not fighting each other. Maybe people in that neighborhood can't afford all the toys

Great film, the cinematics are amazing. But.....these candy girls would be blown to bits immediately with their asinine tactics. Bright lit cars, gold plated guns, loud music, dancing around in the street, taunting an enemy in an elevated position with a clear field of fire. Good grief. They could have been just blown to hell by the guy with the M1A as soon as they opened the car door.

Especially if her Kalashnikov is 24k gold plated with diamonds. Simple upgrades to do too. The muzzle device is a 14x1 LH type. Very common.
Ngl, the scene with the car covered in lights and "Part in the USA" blaring was my favorite when this movie came out. I dressed up as the purge that year for Halloween but was highly disappointed when could not cover my car with lights as well!
i actually had a friend that said they wished a purge would happen so they could get rid of some people but i said actually the people out there doing the worst would be those people its the law abiding good people staying inside. he would probably just get killed.
