So crazy that you posted this today! God literally works in crazy ways. I was JUST talking to my coworker at lunch saying “I’m done with dating apps and I’m done searching. It’s like God is saying “do you not trust me enough?” And my Christian coworker also said “I agree, I don’t agree you should be on dating apps. You tried them and they haven’t worked. Just let God handle it now.” And then you posted this! Thank you God for sending confirmation 🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
only JESUS CHRIST saves. please turn away from all of your sins and live all to the glory of the only true and living GOD, YAHWEH, and praise the LORD GOD, the One Who gave all of us life and laid down HIS very own precious Life for us all so that we may be saved by HIS grace through faith in HIM alone.
Coming to this a year after you posted and THIS is confirmation for ME! This week God woke me from some sweet sleep telling me to pray for my husband and I literally said “now” He said yes now!! Alrighty then! I’ve tried online dating and yeah it’s really not for me. Gos knows my heart on dating, even though friends try to help there’s never been that sense of peace.
"If all I get is Jesus and not a husband, that is Plan A." I love this. "My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in weakness." Thank you!

I definitely understand your perspective Nastasia, even though I did meet my boyfriend and soon to be husband on an app. I said I never would and it happened to fall in place through his patience with me and a strong testimony of God's work in his life. However I would not recommend to everyone and I would say that each person should approach dating apps according to the conviction God gives them about it. And ask themselves what their motivation is in seeking to make a profile, and really if they are looking for ultimate satisfaction in a relationship. If used the right way, with Godly wisdom, it can be like how when you need a job, you interview, look through classifieds etc. You pray, and take action. But any kind of godly dating must be in surrender to God's will and putting His glory above our own happiness. There can't be any compromise for sure. Thanks for standing up for you convictions girl!! SO SO happy for you and Cai!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your story and perspective on a somewhat controversial topic! I agree that dating apps definitely aren’t for everyone. My personal experience was that I felt if I was praying that someday I would get married why not be intentional about it. Obviously let Gods will be done and if that wasn’t in His plan I believe he wouldn’t have brought my husband through a dating app. I see it as if you’re praying for an interview you wouldn’t just sit and wait. You would go out and apply for jobs. I saw it as having active faith. Before every date I prayed for discernment. I also studied the word so that I may discern Godly character as well. For me I’ve always had the desire to be a wife and it was never to make me whole. It was also never the be all end all. If it wasn’t in Gods plan then God is all I need anyways. I dated on and off for about a year and a half before I met my husband. He honestly is such a blessing and beyond what I could have hoped for. I never felt conviction on a dating app because I feel like I went into it with the right intentions and mindset. I also just had this gut feeling that that’s how I would meet the right guy. Also my pastor met his wife on an app also! Thanks again for the video! Just wanted to share my story :)
You met your man on a dating app too? How awesome! Agreed that it's not for everyone, and you have to be cautious- just as with meeting men in person, honestly. Yes there were bad apples to weed out. But what I like was being able to ask hard questions right off the bat, before attraction built. Too often we can get attracted to someone who isn't even safe or good to like. And from there giving it time to slowly develop. I said I would never use an app but decided on a whim and met a great godly guy who means the world to me ❤️💕 it can be a good thing, as you said, approached the right way

YES! I love that you chose to speak about this. I've personally tried dating apps and I've had nothing but terrible experiences from them! I know that's not the case for everyone, but I've definitely learned the hard way to trust God's timing & to work on building my relationship with Him first before I even try to get into a relationship with another person. 🙌🏼✝️❤️
I just feel weird about dating online. It feels as though you are shopping for a spouse. I feel that meeting people in person is much easier, since you get to know the whole person and not just their profile picture/texts. I've also had some somewhat unpleasant experiences on christian dating sites. I'm praying that God will bring the right man in person and I continue to put myself out there and seek first the Kingdom of God!
I'm glad I found someone who has this much conviction when it comes to dating. There have been times where I have felt that my standards are silly, but watching you just confirms that those have come from the Lord. Thanks girly!💕
When you said, "I'm done trying to control things. I'm not doing this again", screams full surrender. And thank you so much for this. I really needed to hear this!
Using an app for things is not necessarily trying to control things? App for a job - app for a holiday - app for car - app for a dictionary - app for weather - app for - we saying we should use them for everything but meeting people which somehow completely different? But I agree it can be midfield on some sites. Just a thought :)
I really wanted to thank you. I was feeling down over the passed days for being single and the Lord spoke to me today over your video. God bless you and keep going with the amazing content 🙂
I felt so down too today girl , but the thing is I’m young but i want a lifelong companion someone to be my best friend first ... and I want kids so bad I love children I had a miscarriage a while before I got saved so it’s kinda taking a toll on me
@@onfireforjesus9938 So sorry for your miscarriage, I really hope that God give you the strength to overcome this situation! And I get you, I want a long life companion too, but what I have learned is that God's time is perfect, even though this world says otherwise!
My church has no single women in my age range, and my work is not a place for dating. I’ve thought about dating apps, but I don’t have peace about that, and they are very oriented to the woman’s experience. I am trying to be at peace with walking through life alone. Our society needs to find a way to pull people out of their houses / apartments and actually meet each other.
Is it that you don't have peace or you don't want to have to have to tell the story that you met your wife online for the rest of your life? I find that most people experience the latter.
Honestly, I have had similar experiences with dating apps. I have used a Christian dating app as well. I don’t think it’s healthy. And I also pushed my feelings away about not really being pursued when I was on them. Going on a date with someone from a dating app just feels like you’re trying to make something happen which wouldn’t naturally occur. It feels forced. This is just my experience. 🤷🏻♀️ Now I am trusting the Lord to bring a man in my life if it is His will.
Yes! This is exactly how I feel about dating apps. I've tried dating apps twice and both times it gave me really bad anxiety. Never doing it again. It just feels too weird for me personally.
only JESUS CHRIST saves. please turn away from all of your sins and live all to the glory of the only true and living GOD, YAHWEH, and praise the LORD GOD, the One Who gave all of us life and laid down HIS very own precious Life for us all so that we may be saved by HIS grace through faith in HIM alone.
100% agree with the points you mentioned. One of the points that stood out the most to me was when you mentioned that just having Jesus alone is enough, and will ALWAYS be enough! For me, dating apps were a slippery slope almost immediately. I became obsessed and fixated on trying to find the right Christian man, when I forgot: God is always in control. By me trying to take control, I'm disobeying God. It's wise words that have always said, "The moment you stop looking is exactly when that thing/person will appear." It's always a daily reminder for me: It's not on my time, it's on God's time.
I am about to marry a lovely Christian man I met on a Christian dating website. I had a specific mindset about the online dating. I was VERY skeptical about dating websites but unfortunately I looked around at my church and it's a sea of grey hair. I even tried to date a man who was more than twice my age because of the lack of younger people in my church. And that didn't work out because he felt he was too old to marry me or be a step parent to my son. My profession at work is female dominated so there was zero chance of meeting a Christian man there. My options were very limited.
Same for me!! I'm 22 and decided to try dating apps due to lack of Christian men in my church. Might go out with this guy from Bumble to test his faith if he truly is a follower of Christ.
@@AlicenLyne My favorite: "Christian" Man on a Christian dating app: Looking for a biblical marriage with a Proverbs 31 type of girl. Also "Christian" Man: I would love to see you in a bikini. true story.
I mostly agree with you, love GOD first and foremost, trust his plan and live the life that HE intended for you, find yourself and fulfill your own needs before looking for a partner. No one completes you, only you and your relationship with God makes you whole.
I have been trying to find someone for a while. Been praying for wisdom to find the right woman but also afraid to use stuff like dating apps because of personal reasons. Just hope God shows me her soon.
Amen.....he will send that beautiful soul to you. God bless you brother. . You are not alone. We are many outside here praying for God to give us the sign ...😀😂
Don't think the argument of "not trusting God" I read here holds up - unless you want to stop using apps to get from a-b - apps for jobs - apps for houses - apps for cars - apps for purchases - apps weather - apps for EVERYTHING else but dating as if only that is different and requires faith? But I DO agree it's far from perfect and only sometimes necessary because there are so few Christians for Christians to meet. Definitely not ideal but it can work in our completely un-ideal world.
Beautiful comment. I like the part that you opened my eyes to the several apps we actually use for shopping and jobs but then we debate that of dating. This topic has actually been on my mind hence why I came on TH-cam to check out for videos. But I think I will try one .
Everyone's journey is different. But the fact is, committed Christian, will always have a smaller dating pool. Then there's the issue of conviction. There are many self identified Christians, but convictions don't always past the Biblical tests. I would say use the apps, but vet carefully. But if folks find the apps frustrating, I don't blame them for stopping. It's a tool like you said,.
I thank God for this video. I was actually thinking about going into it but I am constantly doubting. I want to marry someday for sure but I also need to be content with where I am now, in the season I am in which is being single. So thank you for your encouraging words and advice. ❤
Beautiful perspective and story. Congratulations on your engagement and finding a suitable mate. However, TH-cam and Instagram are considered social media apps where people get to know each other just like dating apps. The key thing you said was seeking the Lord. Everyone’s love story is different and I do not think we should put a limit on Gods plan. I have seen wonderful traditional marriages done the old fashion way work but I have seen the same online dating. The numbers show that success percentages and rates are about the same. Blessings
While I am not against your opinion exactly as I definitely saw myself on a dating app years ago idolizing women, I am concerned moving forward if finding a girl offline will be possible for me (especially in the current and post-COVID-19 world). Having said that, Jesus has to be Plan A, and He is still using the enouragement of women to help me through my daily struggles.
Was about to think about getting on a dating app even though I kinda knew what you said but I’m so glad I watched this because you’re completely right ! I just gotta wait 🙂
we all know he will take care our future & life's. And strongly believe that. And all these people in comment section are not desperate to have someone. But we all relate in one common thing, that is we feel lonely sometimes. That's when try looking for worldly way of looking for a soul mate. Hahaha, all r on the same boat here.
Honestly pretty inspirational to hear about your thought process and opinion as I am going through a similar scenario. I have put full trust in the Lord to reveal her to me.
Thank you for this I was contemplating on going back to the dating apps but I had asked God to show me if a sign if he is for me to go back .then came across your video. It’s a confirmation.I ain’t going back to any dating sites.I know God has someone out there for me .🙏
I’ve been on every dating up under the sun and I regret every single date BUT I don’t regret the friendships I made on there. I made lifelong friends on there 5 years later still in touch
I really needed this! I have been single for over a year and have gone on so many bad Hinge dates! I’m so tired of dating and looking for “him”. Going to delete my apps and focus on my relationship with God instead of feeling like I need a boyfriend to feel fulfilled.
Love the analogy of drinking alcohol it was creatively and respectfully explained and relatable to understand for me. I went as far as signing up on two dating apps but didn’t finish creating the profile as I feel the same way as you describe your felt, I just did not know how to put it into words and understand if it was just fear of the experience, but something on the inside didn’t feel right and so thank you for putting it into perspective and sharing your story ❤
Thank you for this I’m 6 months post breakup and I’m finding my way through the lord and god so good always he never forsakes us his love for us is eternal !
So many counterfeits out there! I’ve gone through it too. It’s painful and I agree, so exhausting. There’s only so much you can do. I’m also a control freak and apps stressed me out so much. I’m glad I’m taking a break
This is me and I'm thinking I may need shock therapy at this point to get over this!!! Im driving myself crazy. Single 5 years, I've done the work and I'm just over it. But also trying to hold on because only God can ordain something sooo amazing!! I deserve nothing but the best. But commmmeee onnnnnn 😮💨😮💨😩😩
I have a little different perspective maybe. For context I can't drive so meeting people was hard, I live in a small town and didn't really know where to make friends given I knew everyone in my small church and I was older than most. So I tried a dating for a few weeks, it was a waste of time but I also continued to pray about it. Idk how long it was maybe a year later I tried again on the same app, praying every time I went on and that's where I met my husband! I know they don't work for everyone and it's a risk but I think in my personal situation God used it to bring about his will. We've been married 2 years now.
Thanks for being honest and open about this stuff. I honestly feel like a hopeless dreamer at this point - 30 yrs without a relationship to speak of - but I remain faithful that God will do what he will do, and He makes no mistakes. It still hurts though. At this rate, I honestly think I’ll be Raptured before I find my wife. 😕
If you really want to find something be active about it and don’t let you discouraged by the devil there are so many scripture that proves mariage is the will of God🙏
Its a mans job to find a wife. Why you probably haven't found is because you have been looking at the wrong people or places. Ask God to open your eyes..... More so if you actually see a diamond or ruby before its polished into its final stage would you recognize it? So let God lead you.
Awesome advice you gave! I agree with what you said about not using online dating in terms of seeking a man and staking my happiness and satisfaction on a relationship rather than on Lord Jesus. From a guy's perspective, I used maybe every free dating app you can think of between about 2015 and 2019, and while I definitely suffered from it due to my immense desire to date and be happy in a relationship with a woman, I also suffered from lust as well. That factor alone is another thing to think about honestly.
@K yourlive I love this, I couldn't agree more. After all, how can we know love unless we go to the source? It's still a struggle day by day, but at least I know I have the Father's love always. Thanks for this and be blessed
I’m glad you were able to find what you were looking for. Online dating can be demoralizing at times. I would not recommend any dating apps. As Christians we should focus on what the Lord wants from us. I’m still praying to this very day that I would meet somebody one day, and that she is truly saved.
Your opinion and story regarding dating is really interesting and a relief for me. It helped me recognizing my weaknesses about my faith and I’ll really put some thoughts to it. Glad I clicked on your video, thanks you!
I agree with you. I'm a single Mom of 3 and I work from home and home school. If i actually had time to date, I would but i really need to hang out with the Lord for a while. I know I have been alone for over 4 years and and everything was finalized in August of this year but I really kind of want to be alone with God and spend more time with Him. God knows i want a relationship someday and I'm 37 not getting any younger either but even so, I dont want to be distracted from Gods plans for me and would rather have someone that is on their path in Gods plan too. If i do, great but if not its ok. I like you was recommended to get a dating app because there isnt much chance when i have a disabled son and my time is limited, but i'm ok with that. God called me to the position I'm in and I'm willing to walk it. Thank you for your honesty in this.
While I understand where you are coming from, it's also important to think about those who are much older and dealing with the scarcity of meeting someone in their age range. Not saying that God cannot bring someone a significant other when they're older, but the chances of meeting someone the traditional way are slim (because most people are already married with children). So in order to increase those chances, it helps to actually see what options are out there as it relates to your age bracket. I think you're also simplifying your situation. You are a TH-camr- if you don't do any dating apps, the chances of someone finding you are way higher than someone who is solely on social media with a private profile (not everyone is okay with the world following their personal lives). Again, I totally get where you are coming from (like you mentioned, it's your personal opinion) and I'm not sure of your age, but it's also good to consider someone older who is dealing with dating in this day and age when giving that type of advice.
I totally agree with you. I am actually on the verge of to or not to join a dating app. But then also I haven't heard anything from God. Even though I have placed it in Gods hand and I also feel like yes its like you looking for a job and not submitting your cv's.
A woman should use her youth and beauty to find a husband. Most women date around and are promiscuous in their youth and then have trouble finding a man later in life. Older women lie to the younger women and ignore the Biblical teaching that older women should teach the young women how to love their husband (how to be a good young wife), not to ride as many Chads and Tyrones as they can in their youth and then look for a man to rescue them in their later years. Blame feminists and liberals for indoctrinating you with anti-Biblical teaching. Use your older age and wisdom to teach the young women using your mistake as an example of what not to do, to instead find a man while young and beautiful and before they get too much baggage that makes their marrital success an uphill battle.
Wow this is the best dating advice!Very humble and meek to open up about it. I have used dating apps and had absolutely only negatives. I have to end every relationship because the person’s morals or spiritual life are not what they say originally. Seems God only sends the wrong one through my selfishness use of dating apps. I like your advice of seeking God totally and now worrying about dating in that way.
I absolutely agree🦋 Speaking of soulmates...can you make a video on ur opinion about soulmates from a Christians perspective? I've heard a lot about this specific topic and i'm not sure whether its okay to talk about as a Christian or believe in, due to them being mentioned and taken very seriously in different beliefs i realllyy love you and your videos so much btw❤️ sharing love all the way from South Africa🇿🇦✨
Dating apps create a culture of unhealthy expectations in a dating relationships. It also can create negative views of the opposite sex. It’s really hard when people just aren’t serious about God. At the end of it he knows what’s best. Proverbs 3:5-6
@@biblicalchristtv5717 Lol no! You can share what you want but your ideas aren't immune from critique especially if made public. Your counter argument to mine would, logically, be that you can project your ideas onto others and that dating apps shouldn't be used.
“Plan A is Jesus.” So true. The Bible clearly states that it’s better to be single. Unless Mr Right shows up at my doorstep, I am happy to be single and trust the plans God has for me.
I agree with you, Nastasia. Dating apps are nothing but drama and trouble. I also would’ve saved myself a lot of time and drama without dating apps. Deleted both of mine this morning.
Dear Nastasia, I thank you for posting this video. I believe that Proverbs 18:22, does indeed support your position on how you feel regarding online dating. I agree with you. In becoming impatient, we can put ourselves in situations that can be draining. Trusting god to supply our every need is not always easy. I have learned that it renders to those who do the best rewards. I am prayerfully waiting while pressing to live a life that pleases the Lord while enjoying this season in my life. God bless you, sincerely, Teresa.
I agree. I did dating apps for like 2 months. I met someone who i thought was a real Christian man but i was deceived. I wasted my time and so much. Never again. I refuse to go on dating apps again. I will meet my husband organically.
@Dye Dye my fiancé’s brother met his partner on Tinder too. They’re getting married in February and have a baby together. Also my friends sister met her fiancé on there.
You look young. While I'm not asking for pity or superficial encouragement, some wisdom is better than anything else. Nothing is wrong with me, honestly. I'm handsome according to wise people. I'm intelligent and godly according to wise people. I'm virgin, alcohol free, drug free, wide awake spiritually and involved in personal ministry for many years. I'm not stuck in an apostate church or following heretics. My spiritual ducks are in a row. I'm 40. I've been single all my life. I've no actual date experience, period. Prayed my brains out. Have many people whom I know and love praying for me. On and on and on. My career is male dominate. I don't find exposure to ladies very much. I'm a little introverted and a homebody. I couldn't care less about malls, social centers, bars (I don't drink and never will), the usual social hangouts. I'm in a city and don't like noise and crowds, they drain me. I was adamantly opposed to dating apps all these years. But I think the problem wasn't the software, the pictures, the idea, the process. The problem has been my mindset about marriage. The problem is not grasping human psychology regarding relationships and connection. I have super solid cherished friendships, some at long distance. That's not a problem. Number one issue is Christians don't understand what the will of God is, they don't know what He is doing, they don't get what He expects, they aren't sure what pleases Him or grieves Him, and if they aren't deeply familiar with the doctrine of Grace they are essentially living under a law system they created out of thin air, if they don't put themselves under the Covenant/law system of Israel. One thing I think I've learned from this video is that "date experience with X got me hurt = sin; not God's will". In other words, if you've experienced the struggle of human relationships in this vile fallen world, you must be out of the will of God. Actually, that has nothing at all do with the will of God. The Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul, the man God revealed the mystery of Grace, the doctrines of this age, the foundation of the Body of Christ, Paul suffered immensely in this life and He was perfectly smack-dab in the center of God's will. The will of God isn't a puzzle, endless mystery, esoteric, exclusive, tailored to you. The will of God is black and white, simple, spelled out and explained in plain English in the KJV. That said, the scripture does have the words "chance" and such in it. God isn't manipulating the placement of the fall leaves that fall on the lawn. Foolishness. God isn't hand-picking one person out of a billion individuals for you to marry. Foolishness. That only leads to frustration and bondage. God isn't punishing anyone for messing up the process of friendships leading to marriage. God isn't blessing or cursing Christians based on their skill in navigating human psychology and interactions. All of this stuff we project onto God, God isn't receiving from our ignorant little selves, so the only effect this projection of rules and regulations has is a detriment to ourselves. God doesn't have rules for being single, or callings for being single. God doesn't have rules for getting married or calling to be married. God is in the business of revealing Grace doctrine, understanding, the meaning of the mystery of the Gospel by Paul. God is in the business of identifying who an individual is in the Body of Christ and what God called that person to be. Who they marry is LITERALLY UP TO THEM. The only stipulation given to a lover is that that person be IN CHRIST. The rest of it is a process of wisdom, discernment, interests, CONNECTION, chemistry, values, etc. It's a seriously complex road to navigate. God gives the wisdom to do it. God's institution is marriage. He is the architect. If you are a member of mankind, you're going to be betrayed, hurt, rejected, ridiculed, played, used, deceived, manipulated, stolen from, and all the rest. The point isn't to avoid pain, the point is to be able to be equipped as a soldier of Christ to fight the battle and not be defeated or destroyed in your soul. Friendships and romantic relationships are actually just different motivations of the same human interactions. The goal is friendship, the goal is intimacy, the goal is a pledge of marriage and continued friendship and intimacy and none of these things can even properly begin until someone learns how to navigate the difficult route of life's everyday, practical, and unavoidable human interactions. Dating sites? Just a computer optimizing a population who are increasingly disconnected from the natural world, immersed in a digital world. It's what you make of it. It's how you use the tool. It's the motives. It's the skill of navigation and keeping the right motive and goals at the forefront of whatever method is required to operate the tool. We put way too much stuff on God, frankly blame Him or unnecessarily condemn ourselves over stuff that God isn't even involved with for evil or good. My perspective at 40 is a lot different than younger people. But honestly it's up to me to find a mate. I will not be married unless I put in the effort. That's just the way it is. If I die lonely, that just might be my own fault. Is that a loss? I don't think so. Marriage is only for this life and is very temporal. This life is temporal. Marriage is important but the Body of Christ is built for heavenly places and is forever. Marriage is very temporal. So I can pray my brains out and have an army praying their brains out. What do we think God is? Someone to be manipulated, coerced, or jarred into doing what we want? No. He has revealed what He wants in black and white. The Bible isn't deficient. We are deficient in emptying our messed up minds and filling them with His knowledge and understanding. "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward." Matthew 6:5 KJV "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Matthew 6:7 KJV Does a child approach their father and say, "Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle?" At some point wise dad expects that kid to learn about life. That kid may not get a bicycle from daddy (for no reason of the kids importunity), but the kid shouldn't become bitter about their daddy as if daddy doesn't love their little heart and wish them to grow to responsible, wise, durable adults. And it has nothing to do with the bicycle. Congratulations on the friendship you found, and the engagement. I pray it is fruitful, you are a connected couple, and you build this house of marriage with the right materials. I have nothing to gain by writing this essay. Just wanted to share some experience and wisdom. Anyone who reads may make of it what you wish. Life is a preparation, not a conclusion.
Its easy to say all of that when you are not even 30 years old, but when about to turn 50 like myself and there is absolutely no one around and you live alone it is another thing. Well anyway, I totally get what you're saying
I agree with you in everything you said ..I am much older than you ...I have never used online dating I have not dated anyone for many years cause I was busy taking care of my children...but now I am ready I am very pretty and I am very close to Jesus ..I am ready to get married since I am single ...I would take that prayer
Hmmm not sure I 100% agree with this perspective. I think what matters more is your mindset while using dating apps. If you’re asking God for a spouse but not being active in the pursuit, then chances of meeting someone are reduced. Not saying it’s impossible because God can do all things, but the Bible says faith without works is dead. I think your situation is a bit different because you are a TH-camr with a larger Instagram following so chances of you meeting someone were much higher than say someone that doesn’t have any social media and is not an influencer. In those situations I don’t see anything wrong with using dating apps so long as you don’t feel convicted by God in doing so. Just my thoughts 🤷🏽♀️ but appreciate your perspective nonetheless!
The first verse that popes into my head while watching this is Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.” Before marriage, and even in the first few years of my marriage I did not guard my heart and it caused a lot of pain to myself and my husband. I just want any one that reads this to understand how important it is to guard your heart!!
@@rita-ph7lj Remembering your worth! Finding satisfaction in your relationship with the Lord and not just giving your heart to any and everyone. Pray and ask the Lord for wisdom about relationships. Also putting safe guards in place so temptations are harder to give in to. I did not guard my heart. I gave away so many pieces of myself away and it has caused shame and regret and I brought baggage into my marriage. Of course the Lord extends grace ALWAYS and I have gotten victory over it, but I wish I would’ve put safe guards in place! “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5
Hi, thankyou for your honest comment. I also feel the similar feeling as christian girl when using dating apps. But the difference is im still waiting with God's destiny to make me to meet my future husband. Thanks for your sharing and clear explanation 😉
I like this....I like the part where you made the analogy of alcohol and drunkenness...great video💕 I tried dating apps and they all sucked for me as well...😂
Great video. I did the same. I gave up on dating apps after I gave a last ditch effort to EHarmony. It'll happen organically at this point or I'll just spend nights reading my Bible...alone.
i guess the Lord lead me to your vidoe to hear this coz i was really not in a good position emotionally as far as relationship is concerned. Amazing story and you know the bible says that Ruth was busy working when Boaz saw her so you were busy working on your youtube and Boaz appeared, so my take home, let me get busy covid no covid, lock down no lock down i will get busy coz i dont know who is watching and i believe in due time God will bring my boaz.God bless you Nastasia, i appreciate this..
Online dating is a tool. It will work for some and not others. I know of a few people who met, developed a relationship, and married through online dating. These people were generally located way outside each others geographical area.
I never believed on online dating, text mates before like i really don’t want to date with the strangers most of the time I am dating a guy if we have common friends or if He is one of my friends but you know, I dated a guy who is a friend of mine, trusting him of course he is loving, sweet, charming, he loves my parents, we definitely know each other & I thought he is the one for me but I was deceived, now I am praying to God that this time I will consider dating and marrying according to His Glory, if I will meet a guy online, thru common friends or what I am just praying that my future Husband is a God fearing and Love God’s first 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your advice,i am a christian and i love Jesus Christ ,i'am still single and people around tell me to use dating app ,i'm kind of skeptical about that.and on your video you use the same word i was thinking about, when you use the dating app it like you rushing God,if you don't give me a husband i will use dating app, anytime people encourage me to do that.i tell them that i'm praying for it.and thank you i just heard your video it so powerful and i'm not going to do it.i don't mind waiting on the Lord,i know he is faithful and he has better plan for me.
I just started watching you today like a few minutes ago AND I LOVE HOW YOUR SO NICE AND AMAZING AND YOUR SUCH A GOOD CHRISTIAN and I had to leave my best friend today and you made my day!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Me either. I pray only for God's will to be done and for me to have the strength to fulfill my part. Someone else told me that she prays on my behalf to find a good wife but it doesn't matter to me. My only concern is the lack of holy marriages for other young Christians who desire a family much more deeply than I do. The family is extremely important to me, when the family is perverted and destroyed, Satan's work is done.
Remember Ruth in the Bible did ot just sit at home & wait for Boaz to find her she went to his field. Especially for those of us Christians in our 50s & 60s in this 21st century when fewer christian men are found I. churches there are not any options for us.
My experience with dating apps for two months i came to this conclusion: if a “Christian “ man is on a dating app then there’s something’s wrong with him.
people that are called to singleness don't go on dating apps. they LOVE being single, they want to be alone. they want work independently!!! like PAUL. he was single and loved it. there are only a few people who are called to be single. REMEMBER: God said its not good for us to be alone, mating is his design
@Peter best Yes you are right about everything. But distance to me is very important, because long distance is hard for me I've already tried it. I'm from Oregon, what about you?
Thank you for sharing. By the way, there's a difference between "new wine" (fresh from grapes/unfermented) [Matthew 26:29] vs. fermented wine/alcoholic beverages [Proverbs 20:1; Proverbs 23:31-35]. Jesus produced "new wine" for the wedding in Cana. We commit a sin when we break the law/command of God (1 John 3:4), so if God asks us to stay away from anything that will impair our judgment or affect our bodies negatively, but we still do it, it is a sin. I believe you are referring to Ephesians 5:18. Paul was basically saying shun the consumption of [fermented] wine. Instead of being filled with wine, be filled with the Holy Spirit. We literally should shun the appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22)...anything that may cloud judgment or damage our body overtime. God communicates to us through the Holy Spirit and if our mind is being affected, we prevent the Holy Spirit from doing what He's suppose to do. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Think about it...if God dwells inside me, should I consume this? Will it affect my brain negatively? Will it affect other parts of my body?
Thank you for the advice on christian date sites I had similar experience we didn't meet on line like you i wanted a spiritual leader..it broke my heart..💔 and Trust so I'm going to pray about my situations if it's God will hel grant me a partner he knows what s best for his child of God 🙏😊♥️ sorry to hear about your experiences right now I'm going through that pain praise God he has blessed you with a genuine Christian man in your life God bless yous both gratulations on your engagement 💍🙏♥️
I don't do dating apps but at the same time I'm happy to remain single as I was abused as a child and still have a fear of men. I'm on social media though
❤ Thanks for sharing. It is blessed & helpful 😊. I am Indian and praying to marry a born again Christian girl from western & European nation. Can you share some wisdom on this which helps me to meet or connect with her?😊
Using a dating app is like trying to find a dolphin in a sea of sharks!
Hahahah🤣🤣
Wow best explanation I’ve ever heard....😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

So crazy that you posted this today! God literally works in crazy ways. I was JUST talking to my coworker at lunch saying “I’m done with dating apps and I’m done searching. It’s like God is saying “do you not trust me enough?” And my Christian coworker also said “I agree, I don’t agree you should be on dating apps. You tried them and they haven’t worked. Just let God handle it now.” And then you posted this! Thank you God for sending confirmation 🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Coming to this a year after you posted and THIS is confirmation for ME! This week God woke me from some sweet sleep telling me to pray for my husband and I literally said “now” He said yes now!! Alrighty then! I’ve tried online dating and yeah it’s really not for me.

Well said 💯
Which is the name of the app?
I said I would never use an app but decided on a whim and met a great godly guy who means the world to me ❤️💕 it can be a good thing, as you said, approached the right way
His Canvas of grace Definitely! Congrats!

I had a friend in college who was Christian and she met a nice man on there too. They dated for several years before they broke up.
Have you found your husband yet? This isn't a dating site, so this doesn't count as online dating....
I'm glad I found someone who has this much conviction when it comes to dating. There have been times where I have felt that my standards are silly, but watching you just confirms that those have come from the Lord. Thanks girly!💕
No your standards are probably to high.
Hi
And how you doing
When you said, "I'm done trying to control things. I'm not doing this again", screams full surrender. And thank you so much for this. I really needed to hear this!
Using an app for things is not necessarily trying to control things? App for a job - app for a holiday - app for car - app for a dictionary - app for weather - app for - we saying we should use them for everything but meeting people which somehow completely different? But I agree it can be midfield on some sites. Just a thought :)
I used dating apps , I finally was successful now I'm married
Congrats 🎉
Congratulations to you all!! What app did you use?
I agree
It’s hard to find “Christian men” that genuinely love Jesus and want to put him first and date within Christian values & morals.
God will give you the desire of your heart
Amen. Praying for all of us
Yeah it feels unnatural

Well, did the Lord bring you a man yet?
even three years later, this video has blessed me!! this is so timely!!
I’ve only dated one guy from an app and he literally made me choose between him and God... you lose buddy
Ewww lol. Did he think he was better than God? Nope!
Hi Louisa can I have your permission to have a nice Godly chat with you about my True the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth?
So lose lol

She kind of described my situation I will definitely take her advice and continue to let Jesus take the weel on this one
Yes, yes, yes to everything!! Thanks for your encouragement and your strong Biblical stance. 💜
Blessings
True
It’s a confirmation.I ain’t going back to any dating sites.I know God has someone out there for me .🙏
Girl, I TOTALLY resonate with EVERYTHING you are saying 🙌 ✝️❤️
I’ve been on every dating up under the sun and I regret every single date BUT I don’t regret the friendships I made on there.
I made lifelong friends on there 5 years later still in touch
I really needed this! I have been single for over a year and have gone on so many bad Hinge dates! I’m so tired of dating and looking for “him”. Going to delete my apps and focus on my relationship with God instead of feeling like I need a boyfriend to feel fulfilled.
Thank you. The idea of being content with the Lord in singleness really struck me.
That's a lovely story!
I get your point I m 31 female and at my church all men are married or engaged at my age.
I’ve never had any good experiences on dating apps EVER .
Same here girl.
I can make it awesome..
I’m a hopeless dreamer, too.
Its a mans job to find a wife. Why you probably haven't found is because you have been looking at the wrong people or places. Ask God to open your eyes..... More so if you actually see a diamond or ruby before its polished into its final stage would you recognize it? So let God lead you.
Be patient
@robert are you still waiting?
Perfect confirmation from God. I fully agree with your opinion girl!
I feel you I m 31 female
@@markgunther2502 You do know that divorce is a thing right? Most older women are single because they slept around lol.
Wow this is the best dating advice!Very humble and meek to open up about it. I have used
dating apps and had absolutely only negatives. I have to end every relationship because the person’s morals or spiritual life are not what they say originally. Seems God only sends the wrong one through my selfishness use of dating apps.

I absolutely agree🦋
Speaking of soulmates...can you make a video on ur opinion about soulmates from a Christians perspective? Dating apps create a culture of unhealthy expectations in a dating relationships. It also can create negative views of the opposite sex. It’s really hard when people just aren’t serious about God. At the end of it he knows what’s best. Proverbs 3:5-6
My opinion is that people can use what they want. We can’t project our personal convictions on other people.
Thanks but you seem to be projecting this idea to us the readers 🤔 by this logic, it seems nobody should share ideas…? Yes pls clarify 😅
@@biblicalchristtv5717 Lol no! You can share what you want but your ideas aren't immune from critique especially if made public. Your counter argument to mine would, logically, be that you can project your ideas onto others and that dating apps shouldn't be used.
Very reasonable and well thought out take on this topic. Glad you made this video!
“Plan A is Jesus.” So true. The Bible clearly states that it’s better to be single. Unless Mr Right shows up at my doorstep, I am happy to be single and trust the plans God has for me.
I really appreciate you telling me your story I'm surely not going to use an app now to find my soulmate thank you so much.
I agree with you, Nastasia. Dating apps are nothing but drama and trouble. I also would’ve saved myself a lot of time and drama without dating apps. Deleted both of mine this morning.
Hello dear
Dear Nastasia, I thank you for posting this video. I believe that Proverbs 18:22, does indeed support your position on how you feel regarding online dating. I agree with you. In becoming impatient, we can put ourselves in situations that can be draining. Trusting god to supply our every need is not always easy. I have learned that it renders to those who do the best rewards. I am prayerfully waiting while pressing to live a life that pleases the Lord while enjoying this season in my life. God bless you, sincerely, Teresa.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
Matthew 6:5 KJV
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
Matthew 6:7 KJV
Does a child approach their father and say, "Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle? Daddy, can I have a bicycle?"
At some point wise dad expects that kid to learn about life.
That was well written. Thank you for that.
I totally agree with you 🙌🏼🤍 you do an amazing job, your videos helped me so much to understand many things. Thank you, greetings from Europe 💗
Loved your perspective on this!! 💖
Its easy to say all of that when you are not even 30 years old, but when about to turn 50 like myself and there is absolutely no one around and you live alone it is another thing.
Well anyway, I totally get what you're saying
I m 31 I understand you
@@MA-yc7pz Thanks for that
Thanks for the great video still praying for my miracle..
I agree with you in everything you said ..I am much older than you ...I have never used online dating I have not dated anyone for many years cause I was busy taking care of my children...but now I am ready I am very pretty and I am very close to Jesus ..I am ready to get married since I am single ...I would take that prayer
So helpful. I really regret using dating apps.
Thank you so much for pointing me back to Christ. And thank you for your honest opinion
I just want any one that reads this to understand how important it is to guard your heart!!
how do you guard your heart
I like this....I like the part where you made the analogy of alcohol and drunkenness...great video💕 I tried dating apps and they all sucked for me as well...😂
Appreciate your feedback on on-line dating. I have decided to let Jesus handpick the right partner for me. Chris
@Peter best hi
I'm going be trying it. I heard bumble is very good. Can't wait to meet a good Christian Haitian man.
Thanks so much for making this video!!!🤍 Love love love YOU!!!
Recently divorsed, This video really helped me.. Thanks Nastasia!
This video was so refreshing, thanks for posting!!!!
Online dating is a tool. It will work for some and not others. I know of a few people who met, developed a relationship, and married through online dating. These people were generally located way outside each others geographical area.
Thank you for this video girl❤️ your videos always confirm that nudge I've been feeling. I'm at peace now🤗
I never believed on online dating, text mates before like i really don’t want to date with the strangers most of the time I am dating a guy if we have common friends or if He is one of my friends but you know, I dated a guy who is a friend of mine, trusting him of course he is loving, sweet, charming, he loves my parents, we definitely know each other & I thought he is the one for me but I was deceived, now I am praying to God that this time I will consider dating and marrying according to His Glory, if I will meet a guy online, thru common friends or what I am just praying that my future Husband is a God fearing and Love God’s first 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your advice,i am a christian and i love Jesus Christ ,i'am still single and people around tell me to use dating app ,i'm kind of skeptical about that.and on your video you use the same word i was thinking about, when you use the dating app it like you rushing God,if you don't give me a husband i will use dating app, anytime people encourage me to do that.i tell them that i'm praying for it.and thank you i just heard your video it so powerful and i'm not going to do it.i don't mind waiting on the Lord,i know he is faithful and he has better plan for me.
Most guys from online dating expect sex by the third date and dump me when I tell them I want to wait.
I just started watching you today like a few minutes ago AND I LOVE HOW YOUR SO NICE AND AMAZING AND YOUR SUCH A GOOD CHRISTIAN and I had to leave my best friend today and you made my day!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
the anxiety rise part! so true
As a devout Roman Catholic I don’t feel comfortable praying for the “right-Christian” girlfriend/wife.
I like the way you say ,Jesus it sounds very genuine .
Remember Ruth in the Bible did ot just sit at home & wait for Boaz to find her she went to his field. Especially for those of us Christians in our 50s & 60s in this 21st century when fewer christian men are found I. churches there are not any options for us.
I keep praying 🙏
But is no easy but at the same time i don’t think I’ll try an app for dating
Loved this video! Amazing advice and thank you for sharing your experience.
My experience with dating apps for two months i came to this conclusion: if a “Christian “ man is on a dating app then there’s something’s wrong with him.
Love this perspective
people that are called to singleness don't go on dating apps. they LOVE being single, they want to be alone. they want work independently!!! like PAUL. he was single and loved it. there are only a few people who are called to be single. REMEMBER: God said its not good for us to be alone, mating is his design
Thank you for this! I knew I had this intense desire in my heart for a reason, to be married some day 🥰
@Peter best I'm doing good thank you but I don't speak to men who talk to other random girls online.
@Peter best That's alright. Are you Russian by any chance?
@Peter best Yes I am. I am only interested in Russian men.
But you still need companion..let move
❤ Thanks for sharing. It is blessed & helpful 😊.
I am Indian and praying to marry a born again Christian girl from western & European nation.
Can you share some wisdom on this which helps me to meet or connect with her?😊
Thank you so much for creating this video.😊
