Have you experimented with those magnetic sheets on the Joy? I love those miniature magnets - have them ev…ry…wherrre! I used to buy them every trip to B&N, and they can be found all over my office, studio, kitchen, car, living room… yeah everywhere. But we can never have too many bookmarks!
Okay follow up question - would you ever add paper decor and/or vinyl to the inside? So that when opening, you’d have it decorated there, too? Or is there a specific reason you wouldn’t do that? Can’t wait to make my own - thank you!

Save the outer magnetic edges and add a piece of stationary to it for messages! To stick on the fridge!

You definitely could! You wouldn’t really see it much, as the magnets cover most the surface area inside but it would add even more durability!

No, the Joy does not have a deep point blade that is needed for the magnetic sheet. (can only use explorer and maker machines)

No they are quite thin, based on the magnetic sheets you use, and hug the book page nicely.
