Nothing at all the very first ps4 was great when it launched. The fan was great, until a few years later, it started sounding like a jet engine, even if you cleaned it. The ps5 May have a better cooling fan but I doubt it’ll last very long until it starts getting louder and louder. I had to buy another ps4 just now because of the fan issue on my old one. Not to mention, overheating.
Hopefully games will still be developed for the PS4 even after the PS5 comes out

got it with last of us remastered, uncharted 4 and complete edition of horizon zero dawn and there is still a MASSIVE selection of exclusives and loads still to come.

As far as i know o3o there is only like 5 more exclusives left for playstation 4. Plus all of those will be playable on ps5 with the addition to all the new games coming the next 6-7 years. o3o i just feel like at this point it would have been more worth it to put the 220 aside and save up the additional ~170 to get the Ps5 next year. Instead of paying the 220 now and then waiting 4 years to get the ps5 at a lower price than launch as in the end you end up paying more money and waiting more time to buy the two consoles at a discount price than you would have if you just bought a launch ps5 by itself o3o

That's exactly why I came to watch this video. I had my old ps4 for almost 6 years and I sold it because it was slow. It might sound stupid but I want to buy the ps4 slim even though the ps5 comes out next year. Also, the slim comes with Horizon, God of War, and The Last of Us. Great games hands down.

If u wanna play bloodborne, last of us 1 and 2, unchanted 1,2,3,4 and lost legacy, god of war, spiderman, persona 5, days gone, ni no kuni 1 and 2, shadow of the colossus, the last guardian, death stranding, detroit, horizon zero dawn, infamous, until dawn, gravity rush, yakuza, killzone, the order 1886, metal gear solid, sekiro, the witcher 3, rdr2, cyberpunk 2077, deus ex, tomb raider, gta v, watch dogs 1 and 2 assassin's Creed, need for speed, hitman 1 and 2. there's a lot of cool games and It's endless.
Now if u wanna play these games ps4 is ur best choice. doesn't matter if it's 2019 or 2077 lol. Buy a ps4 u won't regret also who knows if ps5 will be as cool as ps4 ?? So buy a ps4, play these cool games than we decide if we should buy a ps5 or not.

The twist is that when this video was made, we didn't know about the upcoming pandemic and chip shortages. I bought my PS4 Slim during the 2019 Black Friday sales for $250 Canadian plus tax and it came with three games for free: God of War, Last of Us Remastered, and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. I also picked up a few other games for it separately for $10 each. I knew the PS5 was a year out at the time, but wow, things sure changed in that one year and even now in November 2022 the PS5 remains elusive (and expensive).
I did, and not a single regret came to my mind.

I did it because of lag and also cause I have a 4K tv now. I can definitely say that things run much smoother (changing from app to app or app to menus). I also found that the WiFi bands have improved incredibly. I was getting about 30 mbps using WiFi on my old ps4 and now I get anywhere from 80-100mbps at all times. It is a steep price even at $250 but if you’re an avid gamer, it definitely is worth the money for a whole year of the best experience that the console market has to offer right now. Otherwise, you’re stuck on the old one for a little over a year 🤷🏽♂️

hollywood 899 I get the skepticism man. It’s been running smoothly for a month now so I hope it continues to perform. One of the good things is that I bought it from a company on eBay instead of a person. Their company has a 1 year warranty where I can send the console back to be fixed if I have any problems.

@@joshuatobias5548 Not always. Most current gen Games before 2017 run at 900p on the X. The framerate is the same in both consoles. All you get is a higher resolution

I think it also depends on which console ecosystem you have been devoted to. PS4 seems great but I've been on the Xbox side since the original with so many games and DLC tied to that platform so it would be tough to start all over again.
I was the same part from 360, and i didn’t switch until 2018 when my xbox one died. even still i had a vita and psp so i was kind of in the playstation ecosystem so it will definitely be different for me
