I understand. Some kind of 2-factor-authentication thing? Google is probably forcing all that these days, usually for decent reasons but it doesn't make it any less of a pain. I really appreciate it even if you don't get it sorted!

For a video like this, I will run the content a few times to learn the 'lay of the land.' I don't need to uncover everything in it, but do want to identify many options. When I do live streams, I'm more likely to be going through content for the first time. My original Shattered Space live streams are examples of that. For the more theory crafting style guides, I might test some feature in the game 100s of times. Just different ways to product content for the channel. They often feel different. edit: Your profile photo is great. Hilarious.

Not much. I planned to play 3-4 hours of Forever Skies but it's fighting with something in my OBS/NVIDIA stack when streaming to TH-cam. Not sure I'll worry about it for now. See you around.

I tried, but technical difficulties occurred. Some conflict with my streaming software and/or drivers that doesn't effect any other game.

StarUI is PC only and on Nexus. I've not found an equivalent in the Creation Store (yet).

@@kineer Thank You , I bought Forever Space . It is interesting . As to invertoty what I want is a better way to tell how many I have and how many I need . Happy New Year

I sorted my technical issue and put 5 hours into it on the live stream today. I still haven't reached the end of the content they put in 2023 so there's more to come. On the inventory, I think their 'major progress' was allowing us to craft with materials in storage (at least on the ship). Easily seeing the materials we need for recipes isn't something I've found yet. I'd love to be able to tag things.

I became convinced the game sometimes tanks one of them so it has to be disabled. I think this also effects the total payout, but I stopped focusing on maximizing that once I started exploring more.

@kineer Oh sorry, I was meaning the golden number. Yours was 1, but it seems mine and everyone else's was 13.

I think my total was very close to 700 when I was done. That said, every time they drop an update, it's possible they adjust drop rates behind the scenes. I also went through the Unity with that character and lost it all anyway. :/

I likely walked past a few things. I did this video very shortly after the DLC came out (that was a bit of the point) so I had run it a few times, but it's been a long time since then. I suspect people find more details over time. I just hope they drop in here and share with others!

I didn't go back and check if I did that. Fortunately with the map update, this got a lot easier. I remember doing it before and there was so much wandering around. With the map and now the the buggy, it's an easy pick up. Thanks for watching!

@ 80 hours and can say it felt like an intentional insult I trusted that they could still make a good single player rpg

I suspect the 100% discovery function has an invisible 3d map around a site. I think they were just a little sloppy defining that field. I'm always curious why they don't fix it, but assume it's such a low priority for them.

I caught him leaping from the bushes near the Viewport and running inside once, but he's there during some period but usually disappears for me. Short, sounds buggy to me. ;)

I didn't think about the tree density mods. The vehicles are best on barren moons imo.

Thanks. Just a heads-up, I caught some silly virus/cold/flu thing over the holiday so live streams are going to be limited for a few days. :) Love family. Sometimes comes with drawbacks.

Have you launched a vehicle as a Creation? I'd really like to, but honestly don't know enough about the Creation Kit to do it.

I was definitely rushing and in the back of my mind I thought I should be system jumping to find my elusive Serpent's Crusade. I was definitely less thorough than I could have been. :)

They are all labeled Zealot Assassin but having is code definitely implies it could be him.

@@kineer When I was finishing this quest it is actually mentioned that Ochim was one of the assassins. I either missed this before, or it was new dialog. Would have been nice closure if the game let you give his sister the money you find in the dropbox.

Still no sign of the "Serpent's Crusade," but I'll keep looking. :/

This is a cool option. I recorded video of this before Thanksgiving, but haven't finished the editing. I really like this POI for the fight and loot, but the option to just walk in, say the magic word and move straight to Onimade is fun. Probably a better fit for a 'pro Va'ruun' play through too.

Are you Starborn in your game? I noticed a [Starborn] dialog option with Qisrani that says "If I hurry I could save him." (something like that ; link below). ​ @kineer I read somewhere that if you are Starborn, you somehow remember the supply closet passcode from previous universe. Did your character go thru SS last time? My character this time is not Starborn, so I guess Ukaru has to die first time around.

If you are a Starborn that has already gone through Shattered Space and done this mission and got the slate with the passcode, then you can open that door and save Ukaru right away. Starborns remember things from the past life. A unique twist in this game, might be the first time I've seen it used to gain entry to locked doors. If you are a Starborn but not gone thru Shattered Space, you can still save him apparently by using Parallel Self power.

@@kineer I could not find any ammo or weapons after walking around forever. Gave up.

That is strange. I haven't tested it lately since there are creations out there that let you choose the universe.

@kineer yeah I ended up doing it that way, I was trying to avoid disabling achievements, hence why I didn't want to use the creations feature.

I was a little surprised at options I flew past the first time.

@@kineer In my opinion part of what makes Starfield , Skyrim , the fallout series and so many other games replayable is the diferent choises we can make
