Cinnamon toast: toasted bread, buttered, sprinkled with sugar & cinnamon. My favorite childhood breakfast.
Loads of other people like it too, which is why you have Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
My mom used to mix cinnamon, sugar and butter and keep it in a plastic container in the cupboard - instant cinnamon toast spread!
Wasn't there a product that came with sugar and cinnamon pre-mixed, for you to sprinkle on toast?

I know someone who used to work for Jolly Rancher. He said when they would use the cinnamon extract in the batches of candy, they would have to get in full hazmat gear. The extract was so strong it would burn skin and lungs.
Like most spices, cinnamon is a toxin. When you cook/bake with them, you use an extremely small amount, well below their toxic level.

Come on guys! Pop Tarts are meant to be toasted hence the name “Pop” them in the toaster. This helps with the pasty/flour taste

I usually make my own applesauce. rarely buy the applesauce in jars or any other packaging.
So apparently apple sauce is not a thing in Ireland, hmm... that could almost be it's own episode.

Well friends, I want you to know that I sent them the items that they tried over the summer. The box had quite a bit more in it than what they tried. I did ask for Brian, but figured quarantine had a hand in losing that battle. The tea is my personal favorite. 2nd came the apple sauce which I used to eat as breakfast on my way to work. I couldn't send alcohol, but there were some other things. Maybe they will make a part II down the road. Hope you had fun with it. To the TRYers, thanks for staying positive! haha

Totally! Growing up between Ireland and Germany, this one of the things that I missed when we moved back to Ireland. I’m in Scotland now and it’s not a thing here either. But France, Australia, USA - pretty much everywhere else I’ve been it’s a thing people just have.
So I'm guessing that applesauce is just not really a thing in Ireland.
But also that go - gurt apple sauce stuff really is disgusting. The texture is very offputting. Their regular go - gurt is offputting too. I think because children's tastebuds aren't developed they can't tell but most adults wont like it.
Or blood sugar where cinnamon is to help

It's still a pop tart. Warm it up and it's just a warm pop tart. I've toasted them. Didn't help. I don't care for them as you can tell.
Pop tarts straight out the package are one of life's joys. Toasting them is just gilding the lily.

I like certain flavors certain ways. Brown sugar cinnamon and the pumpkin pie, room temp. Blueberry, raspberry, cherry with icing toasted.

@@jasmine6821 i dont eat the fruit cakes and things like that...but it's snuck into seasonal chocolates, some ginger cookies (with hardly any cookies) and other foods....which is why I just say I am allergic to Christmas. Savoury stuff too...like some curries, sauces and chutneys will catch me out sometimes and it's no fun when it does.
I need to know if you toasted the PopTarts or just ate them out of the package.
It looks like they ate them out of the packet, they were holding them with their bare hands and nobody said it was warm which is a shame as they are much better when they "pop" fresh out of the toaster :)

Add two of the tea bags, two cups milk and a quarter cup (or more, to taste) brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boil over low-medium heat, then steep 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and serve. This is also great with apple teas!

I loved the apple-cinnamon flavor worth no frosting but sadly they got rid of all flavors with no frosting.

I love cinnamon at Christmas time. Cinnamon tea and rolls are my favorite. I make really good cinnamon rolls with my Nana's recipe and my kids eat them all in one sitting.
