    What's with the maple theme? Vermont's really the only state in that region known for it's maple syrup, and saltwater taffy comes in just about every flavor known to man.
    Maybe Ben & Jerry's ice cream? That was created in New England and comes in plenty of fun flavors.

    Fluffed nutters are the Massachusetts state sandwich because Marshmallow fluff (and subsequent fluff-infused foods) was invented there, which was a big deal for the state as the company who holds the patent owns several smaller companies, and those companies and factories created thousands of jobs. it's a comfort food, it's not meant to be gourmet, nor is it meant to be healthy.

      I lived in Florida for 9 years and was so disappointed I couldn't find Fluff. Tried a knockoff from Kraft and it was horrible. Now I've moved back to the land of fluffenutters and all is right with the world again. (Their lobster rolls are horrible too)

    Why did they give them like generic chocolate and vanilla flavored taffy? Saltwater Taffy almost always comes in multiple flavors unless you specifically order or pick out a certain flavor you like. There are so many flavors I'm certain there would be one of them they could each enjoy lol

    • @kewlbns69
      @kewlbns69 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** you do realize that it's entirely possible that a European doesn't know jack about united states geography right? still, considering that Maryland and Delaware are basically half way down the eastern coastline I don't think they qualify. New York isn't part of new England either however more than half of it borders Canada so I figure they can count it. also one of them did mention something about "new England" vs north east. and one of them thought Vermont was in Canada so that should pretty much prove their knowledge...or lack there of, of the united states geography.

    • @spartan1010101
      @spartan1010101 9 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Kewl Beans there are literal lines drawn on the map; you can google "Northeastern United States" and get maps with pictures and names which are so simple that 1st graders can understand it. The writers had time to do all of this; cmon this ain't buzzfeed.

      The maple leaf crème cookies were invented in Canada. Maple sugar candy was invented by native people and was first shipped from Boston in the 1600's...it's just lumps of maple sugar that is molded into shapes and sold as candy. Salt water taffy was invented in Atlantic City, New Jersey

    Did you catch that? The one guy almost said all 50 States then switched to 49 for some reason.

    • @adicusdeathreaper
      @adicusdeathreaper 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because there is a confusion (and an argument) that America actually has 51 states, not 50 cause of Puerto Rico

    • @frankienphil9261978
      @frankienphil9261978 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +AdicusDeath reaper but he settled on 49. He forgot one.
      There is no debate or argument about how many States there ARE. It's 50.
      There is some discussion on possibly adding Puerto Rico as a state, but it's unlikely D.C. will become a State anytime soon.
      If you are confused how many States there are just count the Stars on the Flag. If there are any changes the Flag will be charged.
