Yep by far the best training tool! I’ve been using it for about 6 months now. Replaced majority of my traditional dryfire but I still aim for weekly to bi-weekly live fire sessions. FYI you can use the in game timer during the free ranges. Just look down and press A or B (I can’t remember which. One starts it and then B I know lets you cycle through to see splits)
Good to see this is catching on with legit shooters(I'm an A class scrub) and files for different frames are becoming available. Just bought a membership and ordered a handset. I've fiddled with the app with the bare controller and I am impressed. I think it's going to be a very useful tool.
Nice vid, I agree with every single point. It's definitely a game changer to add to the training toolbox for serious shooters. I like the emphasis that it doesn't replace dry fire (nothing will or should). Bonus points on the links

Can you do a video about weighting the 3D grip with the Tungsten shot? A friend just printed me the CZ Shadow 2. Before I go pick it up, I want to figure how I can weight it more appropriately. Thanks.
Thanks for the review. I've been curious about this set and I thought the down sides would be the weight and consistency of the dot with your natural point of aim on your actual gun. But I would be this trains that vision, especially that dot lift which gets really hard to practice in dryfire.
I was actually quite surprised by how well they simulate the dots movement. The movement in recoil is influenced by movement in the muzzle/gun from trigger press or grip issues just like with a real gun in live fire. The index with the Shadow 2 handset and my real Shadow 2 is identical. As long as you use a handset that is modeled after the gun you shoot, index is not an issues. I would ask around at your local matches to see if anyone has one that you can try before you buy. That said, I’m really enjoying it.
That’s correct. Just the shell. You need the trigger control unit to drop inside which you can only get from Ace or from someone that is selling theirs.
@@AlexanderSotelo is the trigger control unit the same for all the different shells they sell? Or is the one for a 2011 different? In other words, if you want to train with a 2011 and a P320 (for example), would you need to buy the complete "guns" for both of those from Ace? Or can you buy a 2011 from ACE and then somehow use the same trigger control unit in a 3D printed P320 shell?
Have you had an issue where the gun shoots an extra shot in rapid fire? I have been doing bill drills and I pull the trigger 6 times and it always shoots 7 shots. I wonder if my splits might be a little too fast for the game.
Check your trigger settings in the game. You probably have too short of a reset on the trigger. I run mine at like 30. That’ll make more sense to you when you find the trigger settings.
You can check out the cost for the Ace VR handset and the app here: www.acexr.com/membership You’ll also need a Meta Oculus 2 or 3. The 3 is the latest and greatest but the 2 works great and is much cheaper. I use the 2.
Great video and I completely agree with what you said. Never can replace dry fire/live fire but it’s definitely another great training option to have. Especially because there is some fun factor. Do you think you could point me in the right direction to get a glock handset 3d printed? Willing to pay for their time materials and shipping.

The trigger shoe itself can be printed but you need to buy the original handset to get the Fire Control Unit. That part is patented from what I understand and cannot be replicated.
@@AlexanderSotelo That's a bad news. My country don't allow import anything with a gun shape. That's why I am looking for a 3d paint headset. Anyways, Thanks a lot.

Thanks. Yeah. People should continue to dry fire but if you're a person that hates it, it's better than not training at all away from the live range.
I got one of these a month or so ago and love it. Just wish I had more room inside to move around and run some of the stages
Yeah. Space is definitely a plus. One thing I’ve done is go in my backyard in the afternoon, when the sun is setting but before it’s dark.
@@AlexanderSotelo I’ve considered that. Just need the temp to get under 100 and I’ll be ok.

More importantly!!! A Video on the steps to swap the FCU, from the Staccato (or any default handset), to the CZ 3d printed handset.
Some of the download links no longer work
Thanks. I’ll see if I can find new links and update.

Where to get all the 3d handset files? Just found the cz Shadow so far ✌️
I just added them to the description.
Are the 3D printed models just the shells? or does it have the trigger and everything a normal ace xr handset would have?

Is there a 3d print file for the p320 x5 legion?
I haven’t seen one but that may because the stock, Articus, handset is almost identical to the X5. It even fits my X5 holster.
