You are spot on about Billy Bremner. He would have died for Leeds United and his team would have too. I was privileged to see them play at Elland Road when I was around 6 years old. We beat Everton 2-1 probably 1967. I sat on my Dads Shoulders most of the game God bless him.

All 4 teams that were in contention have had bad results and bad spells at different points of this season. I’m a Leicester fan and I thought we had blown a huge lead at the top of the table but we were lucky enough to recover. You need to draw a line under that performance as that was a freak result and performance.

Leeds have gone from being the best team in the championship by a big margin to being a mid table team in a month
Putting Archie in midfield has not reaped rewards. He's our best right back and about our 5th best midfielder. Go back to that for the play offs or we've got no chance.

Assuming its play offs, it will be so typical of leeds who will finish miles above 6th place to loose against them.
That’s what I’ve been worrying about the last few weeks as a Leicester Supporter. We suddenly lost all confidence after the Leeds away performance .. I had visions of play-offs and losing because we led for so long by a lot of points. Leeds will be there to be targeted in the play offs. They’ll go in to the play-offs and they could be deflated.

The Championship season is long and full on. Leeds have had a great season but they are one of three fighting for two automatic promotion spots. QPR have been fantastic for 5 months now…consistent and I felt a big win was overdue. Leeds should be Premier League and I’m sure they will be again. Good luck from a QPR fan

@@stuartmarsden4142 The reason QPR were 17th was entirely down to Gareth Ainsworth's tenure. They're a completely different proposition under Cifuentes. Over the last 20 games QPR would be 5th. Yes you didn't turn up, but it was never going to be an easy game. No to mention you've lost on 6 out of your last 7 visits to Loftus Road.
Never want too go off on the team but that was a disgrace. Farke should of hooked Piroe after 20 mins and set the tone to the rest of them that it wasn’t acceptable. Midfield didn’t work again for me either. This one was a real disappointment for our standards over the years.
I have said all season that PIROE has been a dreadful signing.
Piroe is a finisher, he's not a ball playing player. Players like Piroe you get them forward and feed balls into them. Last night he was in defence, in both full back positions, and we had nothing to aim at up front.
If we're defending a corner, he needs to be on the half way line tying two defenders up. Having him in defence gives them one extra man than we give ourselves.
It's not that Piroe is crap, it's that he's being used very badly. As a finisher he's one of the best in the division, he's proved that time and time again.

We were flattered during that 15 match unbeaten run between Jan 1st and the very lucky draw against 10 man relegation fodder Huddersfield ( clue there ) . We only had one convincing performance in all that record breaking run but we all became absolutely hoodwinked and drunk the coolaid . Its nowt to do with the international break .
As a Town fan I still wouldn't bank on us clinching 2nd, we're all nervous this side too mate.

good teams have a good captain,goalkeeper and striker...our strikers are misfiring, ampadous no voice and meslier wont come off his line, and when he briefly does he runs straight back on to his line..

A loser mentailty has been like a disease for decades in this club. The leadership starts at the top and defines a manager who can win and to bring in players who can and more importantly want to win. Attitude at this stage of the season is key. Sure everybody is tired and yes injuries are present in all squads. It is about digging deep and wanting to get something from a game no matter how you feel. We just don't have it. The improvement at Leeds starts with the attitude of the board and the appointments they make.
I feel Carlos Coberan is a far better tactition than Farke will ever be .
That Kinnear is poison, since he's been at this club hes made abysmal decisions, hiring Allardyce and Farke for instance?!

There was a lot of hiding last night by the players. Passing to someone then ducking out of the way so the return pass wasn't on. Also, easy passing constantly instead of trying to get forward.
Piroe is a finisher, it's what he does. He is not a footballer in the general sense. Get him forward and get balls into him or he's useless. He was playing in defence and full back positions and we had nobody to get the ball forward to so we could clear our lines.
It was an absolute shambles all over the pitch, the tactics were hideously bad.

I think you're right Jack if you see the video of the team entering Loftus Road before the game they all looked extremely nervous and anxious you could see by their facial expressions
I appreciate it's difficult to make content after a resounding defeat. I find more salient points and sense in this upload than other reactions I've heard. Although I defend the right of those other paying punters to let off steam, I just don't necessarily think they forward practical answers.
To scrutinise the shortcomings of each individual player in turn misses the broader point: we're not together. In any team sport, that's about as basic as it comes. Team spirit and manager loyalty were in perfect harmony during the unbeaten run but we were lagging and hanging on before the international break came along. I agree with Jack: the international break is a bit of a red herring - a pinata effigy for our frustrations.
We send a player for surgery at the international break and field him for the next game (or game after). He's clearly below par. That's the time to rest him and harmonise with the loyalty of squad players. In my opinion. Otherwise, there's not a consistent message as to what's expected for first team selection. We're not together.
Our reliance on one or two players made us predictable. Huddersfield, Millwall and Watford found a simple blueprint to blot out Leeds. If we're going to be predictable - and especially since we have one or two honest hoofers making up the numbers - let's at least be effective. Some millennial wenises might be horrified at the 20th century reference but that means 4-4-2. Should have been installed a couple of weeks ago when we started hemorrhaging points. It's possibly the simplest change available with the player resources at hand to optimise playoff chances. And something has to change in that event.
Alternatively: Christmas pudding made us strong; Easter eggs made us sick. We should have been feeding the lads Christmas pud at Easter, it's as simple as that.
Love your passion Jack, just about every fan are saying similar things........The hammering was coming around 4 or 5 games ago, it was our lul period cos we didn't have one like the other top teams had.
I have to agree with Tasha on that thought of meslier. Ipswich goal keeper had kept them in many games to win points when they have looked like they were going to lose Southampton game for 1 comes to mind and Bristol city. Well done to Leicester and Ipswich for promotion. Leeds need to have a food for thought and get their ass into gear if they want to be serious about playoffs. As it stands we are the worse in form team in playoffs with 0% urgency.
As a Leeds fan from oversea (Italy and I've been supporting the team for more than 40 years) i'm very disappointed, sad. What else can I add?

Farke subs and changes have been too late in games . I do not believe in the play off , 18 points ahead of 6th meant nothing to now play possibly an FA type cup game , sales gimmick. Farke was out thought by the opposing manager. The team are tired due to Farke playing the same players all the time their manager knew how we were going to play and who was going to play. The international break is an excuse we were looking bad before that the difference was we were just scraping results in and winning.
This team is tired and doesn’t have any forwards that are fast enough except Joseph but Farke isn’t going to play Joseph.
On this day-I was celebrating my 60 th birthday with a big party at a local club. When I heard the half time result-the gloss was certainly taken off proceedings to say the least FFS!
