The widths of the 2 groups were about .625" center to center. At 101" of height that makes the angle between the 2 outer shots only .3 degrees. Shows you have absolutely important a perfectly level gun needs to be at these elevation levels. A +- .5 degree variation from perfectly level (1 degree total) would make those groups about 1.76" wide which is about .7 mils wide. On a target .4-.5 mils wide, that could be a miss off the left and a miss off the right just because of the cant of the rifle. Always check your level bubble before you send the shot.

Era Tac monobloc scope mount is one of the best option (if not the best), adjustable, repeatable zero, accurately each time, available in Mil (0 to 20 Mrad), and also in MOA (0 to 70 MOA).
What’s the furthest out that you can easily spot impacts on steel? And what scope and magnification do you use. I don’t have any high dollar scopes so the further I’ve experienced is 1000 yards with vortex viper pst. Great content Thanks!
Hey Ryan, You shot your zero, which had a +4 mil offset. You then dialed max scope elevation of 36 mils, which hit 40 mils high on the target (4 + 36, using round numbers) When you added your charlie, did you turn your scope elevation back down to “zero” ? It looked like it shot 4 mils higher than the first group (4 + 40 from the Charlie)
That quad pod is my original prototype. The go to now is LabRadar. They make a great unit. Just google LabRadar quad pod and you’ll find it on their site. My action is the Pierce 10x, it’s absolutely fantastic!
Would that same 1 mil correction in windage move with the Charlie to another scope or is that an inherent property of your setup. Short question I guess is, could you adjust that to zero?
That’s just how it is on my scope, truthfully it’s probably just a small cant in the adapter. Now the 40.3 mils of elevation that would most likely transfer to another scope, as that is in the angle of the mirrors.
@@SigmaBallistics Not with this because there is no reference of any kind within the charlie. My scope reticle is perfectly level, the charlie is just mirrors and lenses.

its good, but his charlie offers double that in elevation. eratac needs to make a model with more elevation

Are you using a thread lock compound on your optic mount screws?
I run Spuhr mounts only and they have a blue thread lock compound on the screws from the factory. That’s all I use. Run Spuhr and never worry.

Could the tarac windage offset be fixed by rotating the mount slightly on the scope?
Yeah probably, but it’s so minuscule of an angle that it would be nearly impossible to straighten it and not overshoot it too far the other direction.
