GETCHA SOME GOT CHA plugs!! Capt Dave was good enough to send me a few and I can tell you they do work. Got some Pro Cure from tools of the trade page and I caught.

Nice selection Capt Dave. My tackle box is full of bucktails. Bucktails have always been the top lure for the fishing I do. Rockfish Flounder spec trout red drum I have good success with bucktails with a soft plastic and pro cure sent on the plastic.
Same deal up Orowocks way, but he's breaking out from the NY thing. Gotch plugs may not be sold up yonder, doesnt mean they dont work. He' already had success.
Trying to break the bonds of Northeastern tackle legacy handed down to me by my elders who have either passed or are well on their way. BUT my tackle box will never be void of a bucktail or two.
Your jigging of the gotcha is so different from what we do in southeast fl, here if you don’t rip it while jigging as fast as humanly possible you wont catch anything, i have a lot more success using my 8000 reel than my 4000 and its because of the speed of retrieve
Back in the late 60s early 70s my father in-law was using a wood version called a seahawk. Small size red head white body weighed about 3/8 oz . Odd looking. Looked like more hooks than body. Knocked the specks in the head so he claimed. He had the old polaroid pics to prove it.

Before a lure can catch a fish , it must catch a fisherman......one of my dads favorite sayings..may he rest in peace.
I like this guy he is real I thought I was the only one that had trouble with trouble hooks like that

we are 180 from ''LaLa'' land. I'm usually looking for Trout in the cooler months, I fill the tube with ProCure bait gel.
Hey, Captain. Can you tell us what size single hook you replaced the treble with on your plug? Great video!
I think a 1/0. Really can't remember. The 5/8ths size are my favorites.
Great video Capt. ❤
hey, hey 2Bears...thanks for stopping by!
@@CaptDavesSportfishing 😁👍💯❤️
Love those old Mirrolures like the Glad Shad. Have you ever tried those plastic treble covers?
