Their new album is next level. It’s a masterpiece. Not one weak song. It’s definitely gonna be the album of the year for me. Epica releases a new album in a few weeks so we shall see ... but it’s gonna be in my top two for sure.
the group has gotten big enuf, and the girls have improved enuf that all 4 instrument players now have signature instruments, Kanami has a signature PRS, Nisa has a signature Black Cloud, and Miku has a signature Zamaitis, also Kunami is exclusive with Tama, and thank the lord for that, because these girls are gonna save us from losing hard rock
LOVE this song! agree, in the beginning it was the back trio, then Saiki's vocal climb, and now Miku's upgrades with her back vocals and her guitar skill upgrades. :D still love the old songs, but their new stuff is FIRE! that gremlin icon after the camera got all broken up! lol

I seriously think that there aren't many singer whose voice cuts through their loud and massive instrumental sound like Saiki's. She's not the best singer but her vocal quality is just perfect for the band. In those fast paced songs I often wonder if she's even breathing... just amazing.
That beginning is called the "Maid Waltz" - Kanami writes one for their stage intro each tour. So this sounds like a killer "curtain dropper" at a live show, to me. Great job and Rock On, Sir! 🤘🤘
Good to see you back. I thought maybe you were swimming over to Japan on a pilgrimage. You ask, "Can anyone out-rock this?" The answer is "Yes! Band-Maid can!" And they do--most of the songs on the album are even crazier.
I want them to do something similar to Hot For Teacher by Van Halen with the ladies playing the "grown up" roles and BAND-MAID "kids" playing the instruments. Yoyoka on drums, of course.
I wish they could put monitors or a big screen out in the "crowd" and have people watching / cheering through that so BAND-MAID could feed off the energy.

I know from the last show in December not having a visual audience really effected Saiki especially as she really feeds of the crowd big time in live shows. The more pumped the crowd is the harder they play and she opens up on stage , not having one pains them greatly.
Agree with you that this song give the same energy with Kickstart my heart. Motley Crew is the band that made me love rock music and Band-maid is the band that brings me back to rock music again.
