They promised to do stuff for their older fans CHECK, they´ve promised to do stuff for their new fans CHECK and they also wanna improve DAMN CHECK! My favorite song is Black Hole for sure, it´s RELENTLESS keep hitting your ears with drums from AKane and the bass from MISA... NO MERCY! A pity their dream isn´t come true in february to play in the holy Budokan hall, but instead it seems like we are getting another BIG onlineshow. Can´t wait !
As much as this song is awesome doesn't represent the vibe of the whole album. This is the most blues/rock song of the album. The rest of the album is more hard rock/metal/prog than EVER. This album is, IMHO, their best work and I have a feeeling that this is just the beginning. They wish to improve as musicians and songriters. They are evolving for sure and for the better. The most important band of the last 10 years, at least. They are reinventing the hard rock genre.

I think those that have been following them for a while will recognize the story of their journey and declaration of where they are headed from this point, in both the music and lyrics of the song. There are also many Easter eggs in the lyrics and video itself... older songs, MVs, album covers... In the Limited Pressing edition of the album, this song appears on both the “Roots” and “Progress / Evolution” CDs. Once again reinforcing the music and lyrics of the song. It’s a storytelling and message.
They are so so so good, I have tears in my eyes. Part emotions (lots has happened recently) and part of the sheer class they have. Unbelievable how insanely good they are...now, this band is PERFECTION!

Ok, just finished going down the rabbit hole that is Band Maid. It's like going into Baskin and Robins, so many flavors to choose from, then buying 5 gallons of your favorite one and then plunge your face into it. Sensory overload, but oh so sweet.
I love Band-Maid! They are the first band that I have found worth listening to (other than a one-off anomaly single) in over 4 decades! That said: Objectively, Band-Maid is the best band I have ever listened to. and that journey started almost 70 years ago. In any objective 'top 100' list, band maid would hold at least 30 positions. Subjectively... In my honest top 10 of what I listen to every day... They have one song, which makes them tied with Weird Al Yankovic, Sha-Na-Na, Glenn Miller and Henry Mancini, but behind such (il)luminaries as Marty Robbins and the Stray Cats. The talent and skill of Band-Maid are well beyond everything else out there today. Music is about feel good too.
You ain't seen nothing yet! This album is amazing and they have taken their music to another level and another place. All of them have improved so much! Akane even plays the cow-bell now!!!!! FINALLY!!!!

The trouble with Band Maid is there isn't just one hook in their songs but about a dozen. You end up ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah having ear worms all day. Yeah,yeah,yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. and you don't realise you are doing it. When I first heard Band- Maid they were a good, fun, band and a great curiosity. Now they are just one of the great bands I look forward to listening to. The album is high quality and well produced and well Band- Maid. As you said. They keep getting better and better. Band-Maid are a nice throw back to the great days of good rock with a little hint of the best of punk. Ah,ah,ah,ah ,ah,ah,ah. Oh stop it.
Listened on the hole album on Spotify this morning 4 times in a row. Bass and drums usually is the rhythm section but Misa and Akane changed their instruments in to lead instruments! The only rhythm section now is Miku, and even she does a little solo-ish on this song... The world just got better...
Album is a killer, it's a shame that Budokan event was cancelled (not a surprise anyway) and i hope that the live stream that the girls will play instead will be in not so expensive and in a great location that deserve this new piece of work :D

@@celluz4156 Especially when Non Japanese Bands made it to Budokan that means something. I mean really Something. Only The Beatles, Kiss, Frank Zappa, The Carpenters, Mr. Big and Dream Theater to my Knowledge. Maybe some more Bands that i am not aware of.

There are four MISA. It's full of bass. The only high notes are Saiki's voice, Miku's chops, and Kanami's solo. I'm satisfied with eating enough bass.
