Thank you for this video. I had same problem problem with my Citroen C5 mk2 2006 model with same engine. I spent whole day with few diagnostics, reseting BSI and I almost gave up when I found this video. Thank you once again. Once again, Peugeot, Citroen or Ford, It is same engine, same fusebox. Really helpful.

Am rezolvat pornirea la masina in 5 minute dupa ce mi sa spus ca ma lasat bateria ... electromotor si asa mai departe, bunul Dumnezeu sa iti ajute si sa iti dea sanatate, P.S. Nu am tester! Dupa ce am schimbat siguranta am pus si luat contactul de mai multe ori si voila ! A 3-a oara a pornit! Multumesc !
Happy to hear that was helpful to you . I still use same starter motor , 3 year's later (some people say that it will need replacing soon after this problem , but it's not true)

Salut, am o problema la Citroen C5, a murit motorul si apoi nu a mai pornit, dupa ce am incercat sa o pornesc au coborat toate 4 geamurile si a aparut ca intra in modul de salvare a energiei si nu am mai reusit sa ii dau deloc de cap… ai idee ce ar putea fi? Am schimbat si bateria si degeaba, la fel e… am verificat si toate sigurantele si nu e niciuna arsa….
So ok i have just had this issue come up with the dashboard looking like disco light flashing on & off with lost mileage ect ect ect, it turned out the be the wiring loom on the ABS pump but also could be the ECU loom as well because both looms are connected, i have not looked to find what's causing the issue as yet, but if i keep the loom up in the air it stops the fault so just zip tied the loom up for now,,,cleared all codes an everything fine now!!!! I know it not the same issue here but Hope this may help some folk out there who is looking for some answers
Did you change the starter? I buy starter second Hand not neew the i replace drive 2 weeks ok than stil have this problem burn fuse F8 what to do buy neew starter?...
Varule am mare problema cu 407 diesel, dau cheie și nici măcar nu încearcă sa se învârtă motorul. Treaba ciudata e ca ventilatorul de la radiator pornește când dau cheie dar mașina nu este supra încălzită
Hello .it depends who had the car before you , and how well it took care of it . I would recommend it , vut you may spend extrz 500£/1000£ to make it 100% good
Daca poti sa ma ajuti cu o informatie . Imi taie alimentarea dupa 1 minut de la pornire , asta dupa ce am mers cu ea in avarie si nu se mai tura mai mult de 3.000 rpm . Mersi

If that fuse its keep blowing up, starter motor need to replace soon) or property clean up

This is most common problem for Peugeot 407 2 litre diesel 05,06,07,08 need replace starter motor or property clean if you want safe money
