For those that may not know: the tenor (the main vocal) in Scaramouche’s theme is Yu-Peng Chen himself, who composes the music for Genshin. Not the Chinese VA for Scaramouche’s character.

I always make the fight last until the crescendo at the end with all the traditional instruments and the orchestra (you know after the sick traditional solos). And I just ascended when the last part of my fight used this ost😎 felt like a god

@@anyatayna Sumeru is probably the first region that we have 2 bosses (Dendro Cube & Apep’s Guardian) which we needed to fight them for saving, not killing, and I love the idea of it cause forbidden knowledge really fxxk everyone up.

Across Dimming Asterisms is everything I expected out of an Egyptian battle theme and 50 miles more. It's utterly superb.
To this day Polumnia Omnia still reigns as the most badass, emotionally driven, and epic weekly boss theme to date. Hope it stands the test of time.

24:00 god-devouring mania is perhaps one of my favourite weekly bosses themes, the buildup to the climax really gets you on edge and anticipating! as always, hoyomix never disappoints!
I thought Apep's Guardian has two separate tracks but it turns out it's one and its second half plays during second phase. Even better.
Swirls of Sachmis is my favourite theme to date. I really like how the instruments complement each other, especially at 14:24

The track itself is fine, but I hate how much Fungi enemies made me despise it by triggering a fight so often by spawning right before me out of thin air. Forest part isn't bad at it, but at the desert I though I'm gonna turn of the music completely by how my ears had enough of it.

The trio of "Rhapsodia Roscida", "Quintempus Niteastetae", and "Polumnia Omnia" are some of my favorite boss themes in video gaming - I've said it before and I'll say it again, they go as hard as "Suicide Mission" from Mass Effect 2's soundtrack, which I think of as *the hardest track in all of gaming.* Well done, HoYo-Mix.

11:18 I always loved that clarinet(?) in the background just going nuts. It's not playing the main melody, but it adds so much to the sound.
It's ney on foreground , but there's another flute in background too.
Everybody's talking about Polumnia Omnia, but let's take some time to appreciate the other pieces. The theme at 01:20 is absolutely beautiful, with the percussion and the orchestra in the background doing an amazing job with the atmosphere.
I'm so grateful for Genshin for let us appreciate these magnificent songs. I can't wait for listening Natlan's soundtrack.

Finally they released Scaramouche's boss theme, it's my favourite. Everything about it is so amazing. To say I'm impressed that Yu-peng Chen himself was the singing is an understatement. Seriously, what can he not do? He sounds so much like him and so beautiful at that. I can't get enough of his vocals.
I love both the first and second phase so much, Quintempus Niteastete sounds so cool too. Speaking of the first phase, the Bohemian Rhapsody references never stop with this guy it seems lmao.

Sumeru is my favourite area of Genshin because it features a lot of 'desert' and 'jungle' music. I've always been fascinated by desert people culture and Sumeru ticks all the boxes for me for a fantasy game.

I swear, every time and by that I mean every single time Genshin release a new OST in new place/region I thought it was their best and that they have peaked but I was proven wrong time and time again holy

Wrathful Streaming Gold is something that a WW2 game set in North Africa would play, and I love how it's exclusive to the ruins of the desert, gives off the Indiana Jones vibe. Glad this was thought through when 3.1 was first released.
God-devouring Mania is absolutely peak boss music alongside Polumnia Omnia. The former has a Hans Zimmer vibe to it alongside a whimsical John Williams vibe and 25:55 - we need more of such tunes~ The latter sounds better than what Hildur Guðnadóttir did for Battlefield 2042.

Как и другие альбомы геншина второй альбом OST Сумеру Genshin Impact The Unfathomable Sand Dunes звучит прекрасно. И предает путешествиям красок и погружение в регион. Альбом очень подходит под регион и если его услышать сразу понятно от куда он. Подход разработчиков просто высочайший. И каждый трек берёт за душу.

I like this 16:35 more than his 2nd theme. 17:28 sounds like it would lead to major scales (or somekind of rising atmosphere in a positive way) but its actually lead to minor scales (negative) and its so good my gosh.

Музыка, действительно передает опасность и таинственность пустыни, заставляет вспомнить наши путешествия и исследования, но так же она восхищает своей красотой и мелодичностью. Грустные или радостные истории которые мы узнали на своем пути в зависимости от мелодии всплывают в памяти и как в первый раз заставляют тебя волноваться или радоваться. Мне очень понравилась пустыня в игре Genshin Impact. Пирамиды, головоломки, оазисы... Я много часов провела здесь и теперь слушая альбом могу с легкостью отправить свое воображение в полет, вспоминая то что мне так понравилось. Стоит отметить, атмосферность композиций, их проникновенность, в мелодиях слышно использование восточных инструментов, которые дополняют общую картину и делают их еще более чарующими. Данный альбом универсален, его можно слушать в любом месте и при любом занятии. Мне понравилось рисовать под него и гулять. Но и конечно, эта музыка прекрасно дополняет игру, ее сюжет и вдохновляет на исследования.
