Wondering if anyone has an issue where the bumpers both pop out on the sides? happens to me constantly lately and i'm out of ideas (they are not damaged or anything). Mostly happens at higher speeds, i'm guessing the airflow gets underneath it and pushes it out, also the pressure which is applied on the middle part forces the edges out. This is happening with a new bumper, but also had the same issue with the old one. Wondering if I'm missing some element which kind of pushes the middle out a bit, so there's not just air in-between? I couldn't find anything in the plans though..
you don't just push the bumper into the fender at the side. Look around for other videos !!!! There are supposed to be tabs that this bumper cover does not have. They commonly break off. Look at 3:46 in the video. Pushing to get it to align just isn't working. I wonder why ? Because there is an 8mm screw hidden up in there and a tab (if its there) that mechanically fastens these parts together. I make this comment to help folks .. I looked at this and was just about to give the bumper a big yank .. and then noticed it's mechanically fastened.
Thanks for this
