@@danijelivezic1485 In my personal view dont think it will fit perfect because of the fog light setup and other adjustments but i am not expert you can look on Mazda forums I am sure some must have tried that.
mate i recently brought a honeycomb grille from ebay for my 2017 model and after pulling the car apart realised it did not quite fit , couldnt refit silver trim etc etc ended up sending it back , didnt get it from same place u brought yours but now im scared to do it again
Is the grille held in place with screws or just staples at the bottom? Someone parking hit me and the grille separated from the bumper only at the bottom.
@@salfatgaragebuilds1636 Damn, what a shame. I would love to keep it chrome while having the honey comb grill... Well, I'll have to figure out something else.
Emblem can be removed from both the new and old grill as i removed from my old grill and put it on the new one, there are 4 tabs on the back of emblem through which they can be easily removed
You are welcome. Honestly this should be a 1 or max 1.5 hour job but it took me a while because some of my bolts and the rivet was not coming off initially and i have to improvise and take different routes. but if i will do it now with all the information it will be less time consuming.
That looks so much better. Way to go, man. And thanks for posting this. I’m going to do the same when I buy mine
Thanks for this video. I'm considering the same for my 2015. Cheers!
Nice video man, I'm considering doing the same for a 2018 model.
you should as it will transform the front face of your car
@@salfatgaragebuilds1636 great video! Do you kbow, if the front bumper from 2017 will fit on 2014?

Legend!
Does water leak under the hood now that there’s a gap there? Thanks bro for a good video.
No I never saw a single drop of water going through the gap in the engine bay
@@salfatgaragebuilds1636 thanks for the reply really appreciate it!
@@salfatgaragebuilds1636 to reduce the gap you need to push while fastening the two screws left and right at the end

I put screws every where i can and rivets on top portion so you need to secure them with screws
Is it possible to install the Parking Sensors to the Honeycomb grill?
you have to retrofit the sensors as there are not any predefined holes or space for that
Those clips that didn’t fit you need to cut them off, that’s whats causing the gap between the bonnet
Thanks man will try that soon and update if it fixes the issue.
Would you provide a link on the splitter you used for the front bumper
that i bought from a local guy and was installed in 2017 so unfortunately i dont have the link
Do you remember if it is possible to install the chrome strip from the original grill? Or that part is fused with the new grill in black color?
No, that part is part of the grill and cannot be switched with the chrome one's

Hey I got a honey comb grille for my Mazda and the emblem had now back piece. Any way to fix such a problem?

Will it fit on 2014 mazda 6?
No I dont think so because the size is different for both car bumpers
Does it fit in 2015 mazda 3 hatchback
I believe yes as the center part of sedan and hatchback are same
I'd say the panel gap is from poor reinstalation
It might be possible as i have a plan to take them off and see where i can improve the installation
Hi Did the number plate go on ok.? Cheers
Yes with no issues
Drilling required?
yes, very little just to take out the rivets otherwise not but if you know a different way of taking the rivets out then no drilling required.
Thanks for making this video, how long did the process take you?

Very disorienting when you hold the camera upside down. Good video otherwise
thanks for the tip as I am still learning, will be cautious next time
