Do you really need the grease?
Here in South Florida, the climate can cause corrosion very quickly and can result in parts seizing together and ultimately cause unnecessary damage to components, especially if they are made of different materials, like aluminum frames with steel bearings or axel. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
The way we do things may differ from the way things are done in other parts of the world, but I will always follow the methods that I am currently using for assemblies. I hope this helps. 😎👍
That’s one damn fine bicycle, old timer. My wife got me them same pads for my older GT 24 inch, With blue. I didn’t realize it till night time but those pads are actually a giant reflector, I don’t know if those pads were the same thing. Worked out because my bike is all black and I always ride at night

@@behrbuildsbikes Identical to these pads you have on the bike, however they are a dark gray color. I had no idea either,

How much do these weigh?
Great video- thinking of buying one of these.
I can make a guess at the weight at around 32 lbs. I will double check when I get back to the shop and can actually weigh one that we have in stock.

@blakecollins7297 according to my scale, it weighs 32.5 lbs.....the box says 34lbs, but that includes packing as well. 😎👍
