Welcome to my top 5 favorite worlds! These worlds have a special place in my heart and I have played in them several times. Aesthetic, decor, types of townies and stuff to do play a part in what I think makes the best worlds in the Sims 3, especially in 2024 where we are constantly in a loop of trying to find exotic and fun things to do in the Sims 3.

The Sims 3 is, for me, the best version of the franchise at the moment. ❤
The downside, and it's a very big downside, is just the visual. Like the overall visuals.
The light, the shadow, the color contrast, the they look like😅

@@DBT1007 Install Primer Skin, Boring Bone's Maxis Eyes, and TSM to TS4 animation fix, and voila. The Sims now look like Sims Medieval Sims.
Totally agree with this list! I personally love more small town vibe towns like Cape Garner or beach vibes like Simlau Isles, but the top 3 which had a little bit of everything are chef's kiss! Apso Hylewood is just downright adorable. Thanks for sharing your top 5! 🙌🏾

I was a child when i played TS3, and I didn`t even know custom additional worlds were even a thing, only game ones and The Store ones i think, which were in the game when i downloaded it and even in them i couldn`t play because there were "save mistakes" 12/16 all the time, so now I watch this video and can`t believe, these worlds are soooo good, immediately want to play in them

Bridgeport is definitely one my favorite EA worlds as well, though Twinbrook comes quite close as I love swampland. And yes, I agree, some of the best townies. Already miss Sims like Matty Crewe, who one of my main Sims formed a rock band with =D.

I always adored Pyromodium3's worlds (Setra's creator), because he kept them mod-free, he gave them amazing aesthetics and details, and because he kept them grounded inside Sims lore. I play games to escape the ravages of reality. Last thing I wanna do is play in sims 3 versions of real places.
Besides, there's just a certain charm to creating a stunning world from scratch, and then incorporating lore to make it feel as if it was part of the game all along.
I really enjoyed your video and your feedback and details to the different worlds 😊. My only critique is that it was a bit too many advertisements through the video for my personal taste/opinion. I would have appreciated time stamps, so it is easier to jump back and forth through your video and the different worlds 🙈
Thanks for the tips! I just got the option to add ads but I’m still doing my research on it! I’ll limit them to the best of my abilities from now on 🤎

I have Setra and Alpine County (both are amazing) but i'm going to download Evansdale County because it looks sooooooo good!

I'm currently playing in Evansdale County, but I've renovated a lot of the buildings to turn it into a tropical place 😂 I do use BurntWaffel's lighting mod as well to give it a strong tropical island vibe.

Not weird at all! I use Brntwaffles lighting mod with roaring heights water 🤍 lighting mods can change how the water looks 🤍
you made me fall in love with hylewood and inspired me for a great story line that i want to play. i downloaded your save file, bc girrrl it's breathtaking... anyways.... the file won't open ingame. it tells me that i don't have the required packs installed but i have every single expansion pack. do you know what might be the problem?
Yes! You have to download the original Hylewood world in order for the save file to work. The original hylewood is an empty world with the outline of the world and the save file has the people and lots. You have to have both but when you boot up the game just use the save file and not the “new game” drop down options. Hope that helped!

Worlds is what made Sims 3 the best.
My top favorites would be: Bridgeport, Twinbrook, Alipine County, Midnight Hollow. Custom or not custom maps, there is everything for everyone. You can set a whole däḿn town/city for your story. I did make a huge town myself. I'm good with terrain and nature, but terrible at building, so I made a town with no houses. It would probably explode in most PCs though. I never released it. But CAW is a monsterfully powerful tool. I cannot express how much I despise Sims 4 world system.

Hi!! I fell in love with Evansdale county and I’ve downloaded the world and the save file to populate it but it still isn’t populating correctly. I open up the world and there’s still no sims. Does anyone know how to fix this? I placed the save file into “Saves” per My Sims Realty’s instructions but it’s still not working. Any advice?

Hi the first world i just fell in love with it omg.. usually i only play with huge worlds i need stuff but this one !!! so pretty orange and stuff wouah i think i'm gonna play inside, by the way i really like the sound you used at the beginning do you have any idea what is it so i can have it please ??? thx ;)

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but how do you load the Hylewood save file? I always get this error in my game: "Cannot load this save game. It may have been saved with expansion pack data that is no longer present in the system."
I have the save file in my Saves folder, the .sims3 files are in the Downloads folder, and all my other packages cc are in the Packages folder.
@@pinkseifuku there are two downloads you need for Hylewood to work (both in the description) you have the save file in the right place but you have to download the blank version of hylewood first in order for the save file to work.
@@HotGamerBae Thank u! I have both the save file and the blank version of Hylewood. I can open up the blank world just fine, but when I try to open the save file, I get the error unfortunately.

Do you recommend alpine county for legacy challenge?
If your computer is really good then I’d say yes. Alpine is huge! So if you want the same aesthetic without so much lag, I’d go with evandale county
If we don't have all the packs for Evansdale, can we still download it?
Yes , the game will attempt to replace whatever you’re missing with something similar

When you downloaded the empty world, you have to install the save file and place it in your “saves” folder in Electronics Arts > sims 3 > saves. Place the save file there. When you go into the main menu on sims (where you choose which save you want to play with) you will see a Hylewood save :) I hope that helped!
@@HotGamerBaehello i do have a question; i downloaded hylewiod save file and it automatically went to my winrar so i can extract it; i got two folders - cc one AND the hylewoodsave.sims3 that also contains some package files inside.
So what should i do; should i put the overall extracted file of hylewood in save file, should i put just the .sims3 file in save file and the cc file somewhere else? i did download the original world and placed it in world file, but im stuck at the save file stage :(

Great question! I’m ngl, Alpine county can get extremely laggy because of how big it is! The least laggiest is Evansdale county in the top 3.

Why does the sims 3 just look infinitely better than the sims 4. I can't find a reason it isint... I've sunk so many hours and so much money into the sims 4 and even with purchasing every expansion pack stuff pack game pack ect. It'd like 1/4th of the game that sims 3 is.... wtf ea.

also is there any significant lag when you play these neighbourhoods, or is it just the last one that's a bit laggy
In my description 🤎 and it could be laggy BUT with the right Nraas mods that battle lag (error trap, overwatch, mastercontroller, etc.) you can defeat it! Mastercontroller mod in particular because you could reset the town if you notice it becoming laggy and that helps a lot!
