Oh my gosh, all I could think of was Jesus saying I go and prepare a place for you, that where I am you can come too. And then the verse He stands at the door and knocks!!! The Helper, the gifts....It's all so amazing!! Thank you!!! ❣

Yes! I learned this about a year ago. It is so amazing, and Jesus spoke to his disciples and others in terms they would understand, they knew and understood all these details. I have heard it called the Galilean wedding as they were from there. Such a shame that these traditions have not been handed down to us, but so thankful that we can research and learn more about our Hebrew heritage. Thank you for sharing! it is so exciting to see this connection!

Thank you Constance for sharing this lesson. I’ve never heard this much about the symbolism and correlation of the Hebrew wedding and what the process of becoming a Christian truly is. I’ve been saved for over 40 years. Mind blowing this hasn’t been taught by any pastor I ever had. I’ve heard about being the sabbath bride and the importance of being ready when Jesus comes but not as full of the parallels. Not taught this way for sure. You’re a great teacher!

I thought I was going to make an apron and was led to this video. First off, my husband and I read today in our daily Bible reading about Abraham’s servant going off to find Issac a bride (Rebekah). When you brought that up I knew that it was no coincidence that I was listening to this video. What you shared was fascinating. We have been Christians for many, man years and we always say the more we know the more we don’t know. God’s word is so awesome. Thank you for the lovely lesson today.

This is so profound ! Coming into the Torah journey about 25 yrs ago, I fell in love with my bridegroom Yeshua through a daily study of the Song of Songs. It totally changed my lie or ever. Please do a deeper teaching on the parallels of the Hebrew wedding and our relationship as the bride. You are an amazing woman of Elohim and you are such a blessing. Thank you Constance or your steadfastness , May Yah richly bless you in all things on this journey. May yourPesach and Feast of Unleaven bring you closer to your ( our) bridegroom. Shalom💕

YES!! I completely understand that feeling! 2 years ago, l felt very prompted to buy a Jewish Study Bible, and was reading study notes in it about the bridegroom/ betrothal/wedding. And, oh, my goodness! I was shaking l was so excited. I called my 22 yr old son in, and began reading out stuff to him...it all made so much SENSE! He listened and listened, and promptly ordered a Jewish Study Bible of his own. Thankyou for explaining SO WELL, Constance. You have pulled it all together clearly, and included so much more than we discovered. Thankyou. It is just So Incredible how it is all there, and we don't really get it because we don't know all the cultural background, which people of Jewish culture would have been very familiar with, naturally. I will definitely be looking into getting that book. Thankyou for sharing! 🙂love to you, from Bev, in Australia.♥️🦘✝️

I taught that message back in 1983. It was a great comfort to me, as many of my friends in ministry began to not believe in the ‘rapture’. Since that exact word isn’t used to describe the catching away. We will never learn all that is in the Bible, you’re right. I really enjoyed your teaching.

Sit down and think about this. The covenant of marriage between a man and a woman is so rich with meaning and symbolism. When done as God intended, with both being virgins, a blood covenant is entered into. Oh that we would teach our children this. Sex was never meant to be a casual contact sport with multiple partners.
God's design and order is so beautiful and full of meaning.

I can’t tell you how many “Ah- Ha” moments I had when I was going to Bible college. I told my one professor so many times (referring to his class) that if the Pastor Sunday morning taught stuff like this, I think it would be much easier to get people in the church. It was SO interesting! Sadly, many churches these days don’t even TRY to challenge you and would rather give you a fluffy feel good message instead.
Blessings. I pray you and your family are doing well. 🙏❤️🙏

I had never realized the symbolism with the Jewish wedding and the reference to our salvation, the price was paid for Christ bride, with His very blood, and the reference to His second coming. The purpose of any relationship is to learn more about yourself. It is through relationships we learn how kind or mean we are, how forgiving or resentful we are. Are we givers or takers. Are we enablers, are our boundaries too strong or too weak. We can’t change anyone else, but we can take what we have learned and work on ourselves. The ending of a relationship that is not working is an opportunity to work on ourselves so that we become open to engage in a better relationship. Things will get better.

The marriage model is a picture of us becoming one with the Lord as well. So beautiful. Jesus is waiting for our Father God to say, "Go get your bride, son!" Also, as the groom prepares a place for his bride, so Christ prepares a place for us. When we get to heaven, there is great celebration. We must always carry our lamp (light, truth, Holy Spirit) within us. Be watchful, be prepared, for you know not when the hour cometh when the savior returns.

@@CosmopolitanCornbread . A while back I started to read (on PDF) The Poem of the Man- God and in the early chapters it describes Mary and Joseph’s betrothal and their wedding and when they moved to Nazareth into Joachim and Anne’s home. Anyway, when you were reading the tradition’s of Jewish wedding, I saw the exact description of what I read. But when you said about the wife waiting for her bridegroom with the lamp I got chills! Us and Jesus!!! It made me reflect. I prayed a while back for God to give me the understanding of what the oil and lamps that virgin’s needed were and I received the understanding it was our personal relationship with the LORD. It is something we cannot share. Everyday the time we spend with Him walking together in relationship.
Anyway I’m sorry if I’ve run on and on this topic just thrills me and I absolutely loved your video! Thank you 🙏 Blessings!❤

And there are the bridesmaids too. Some were vigilant in watching for the Groom to come, and some were fooling around and would miss the wedding altogether. Though they would beg, "Lord Lord please let us come in" let us into the wedding it would be too late as the groom had already come for His bride. There will be those who are left behind. Every book of the Bible is about Jesus. Jesus followed all the costumes of the Jewish ways and His life and death followed alongside such. I believe still will. Watch for the coming of the Son of God. Though we don't know when that will be - I feel sure it will be following the Jewish customs and special days somehow.

We did a bible study on that a few years ago. It was so amazing. Thank you for sharing. I didn’t know this until I was in my late 40’s.

Wow! There are so many traditions we should learn more about. And, yes, knowing the culture of the period is essential. Thank you so much for the enlightenment. I will definitely do more research.

Count me in the blown away group! And those goose bumps are real. We are part of a small group Bible study at church and we have been learning so much about the traditions and cultures along the way. We just were discussing Mary and Joseph's betrothel before the announcement of Jesus. We did not talk about this, but we sure will! What an exciting eye opener. Thank you so much!

I just came across you channel a couple of weeks ago & have enjoyed your "moving" posts. I also am a voracious studier of God's word. It is my meat & drink, so we have that in common. I became a believer in Jesus when I was 7, & that was 70 years ago. But I didn't have a really strong desire to study the Bible until I was in my mid twenties. And I do appreciate your unashamed stand for our Lord & your faith. Some of what you talked about I already knew, but I learned some things also, so thank you for that. I am going to watch the videos.
