Great! This was what i was looking for. Lots of videos explaining how to remove and change the display assembly. But I only found yours about changing the display in the assembly itself. Thanks a lot! Gets my hopes up to repair the screen on my 9370. Hopefully its not too different.

I took apart my screen i didn't notice the string. Destroyed the basicscreen i took out. Wish i had seen this before i did it. Thankfully the hd screen is a lot more flexible so got it done second time around.

Use hot gun for smoothing things and take care of your self

@@relik1877 hot air might do nothing, looked like siliconic adhesive to me. Clean and fresh iosopropanol didn't do anything either. The string was useful and used two tweezers to grab it eventually. Thanks for the upload!

Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for... One question - is it 5mm double sided tape you used there to stick the digitiser back?

      Hi thanks for watching.
If the house or screen has the old tape and it’s in good condition ( check how much remains or if is sticky enough) you don’t need anything else but if both sides are clear or new then choose one good tape 2-3 mm not thicker and not puffy if you understand what I mean, because the glass needs to stays under the frame so when the top attaches the palmrest everything is safe and not damaging. So good luck

Hi! Tanks for the nice video! I tok apart a 9370 screen, but it did not have the small wires to pull on. It had tabs connected to the dubble sided tape inside. They where easy to rip off, but I did get the screen out anyway. I changed to a ned screen cable, but I did not get rid of my problem. My problem is that a part of the screen is flickering, showing a darker part, and I can se that the picture is still there kind of, when I restart the computer. Its like the screen is part broken... It is the 4K screen, so it is expensive to replace.
