Superb drive from Lewis today. Had he not had those errors in quali I suspect he would have been on pole driving away into the sunset, or sunrise, given the late hour of the race in Las Vegas. Recovering from 10th to 2nd was a brilliant recovery drive.

What a true display of dominance! I have to give credit where it's due-the Mercedes engineers were spot on with their calculations regarding Lewis's qualifying position. They knew exactly where he needed to be, and had he been just one spot higher, he would have overtaken Russell. It’s clear they have access to an immense amount of data on Lewis, and they aren’t buying into the "washed-up Toto" narrative. This action speaks volumes and somewhat exposed their own lie. Very intersting concept.

In my estimation, given the current context - the doubts the naysayers have been casting on his ability - mowing through the field from 10th to P2 in this particular race was a far more powerful statement than his winning from pole. Had he secured pole and won from it, they would have minimized that potential win as merely a function of a faster than the rest Mercedes car this weekend. Now indeed, that drive from 10th was the veritable masterclass. And congrats to George for a good win from pole and to Max for winning his second (yes, second) World Championship title.

The car was good this week, due to the low temperature, its a pity he locked up on the 1st lap and messed up,he went hard on the 2nd lap and the rear gave up so that was extremely painful, but he gave it his all and we are super proud of that. We know that Mercedes sabotaged him to make george look good ,but its what it is Ferrari we coming win draw or lose ,we coming and we will bring hard ,joyful racing, charles will be there giving his all as usual.
It's not as though the W15 was tearing through the traffic on pure performance either, LH was ludicrously great from the moment that final stint began.

They played their part tbf. Brough lewis out in traffic both times, didn't cure his race mediums like george which would hurt if he started alongside george, and they swapped them around in Qauly so George would always come out after lewis which set george up to be last on the grid with the best chance to take pole. George was always sent out with clear air in Q3 whilst Lewis had struggles with Sainz and Hulk which probably hindered his tyre prep on his outlap. They put a lot of unnecessary obstacles in his way whilst removing them for george but Lewis should havebeen able to get at least 1 lap in inspite of that

On another note where are all the pundits that called Max' drive a masterclass? Lewis overtook the same amount of people (at least) probably more actually and they were better cars. Max overtook one McLaren while Lewis overtook both Ferrari's, both McLaren's and a red bull. Why was this not a masterclass especially when it didn't involve safety cars/ red flags giving him free positions and against the top cars as well. Only one finishing position different and it was his teammate who started pole instead of a teammate like Max has who started 15th or something.
So what’s the story with all that sabotage nonsense, if Mercedes gave Lewis a car fast enough to come back from 10 to 2 and a car that should have been a pole and won the race, had - according to Lewis - he put his qualifying lap together and didn’t make any mistakes? The car was good this week, due to the low temperature, its a pity he locked up on the 1st lap and messed up,he went hard on the 2nd lap and the rear gave up so that was extremely painful, but he gave it his all and we are super proud of that. Given a competitive car, he has proven again that there is still a lot of life on his shelf. We don't know about Toto's shelf and that of the Mercs coming next year.

They played their part tbf. Brough lewis out in traffic both times, didn't cure his race mediums like george which would hurt if he started alongside george, and they swapped them around in Qauly so George would always come out after lewis which set george up to be last on the grid with the best chance to take pole.
George was always sent out with clear air in Q3 whilst Lewis had struggles with Sainz and Hulk which probably hindered his tyre prep on his outlap. They put a lot of unnecessary obstacles in his way whilst removing them for george but Lewis should havebeen able to get at least 1 lap in inspite of that

On another note where are all the pundits that called Max' drive a masterclass? Lewis overtook the same amount of people (at least) probably more actually and they were better cars. Max overtook one McLaren while Lewis overtook both Ferrari's, both McLaren's and a red bull. Why was this not a masterclass especially when it didn't involve safety cars/ red flags giving him free positions and against the top cars as well.
Only one finishing position different and it was his teammate who started pole instead of a teammate like Max has who started 15th or something.
So what’s the story with all that sabotage nonsense, if Mercedes gave Lewis a car fast enough to come back from 10 to 2 and a car that should have been a pole and won the race, had - according to Lewis - he put his qualifying lap together and didn’t make any mistakes? No sabotage in Las Vegas? And to put all of that in perspective, brilliant as Lewis’s comeback was, it wasn’t as brilliant as George not making any qualifying mistakes that Lewis made, qualifying it on pole and winning the race, both him and Lewis in the fastest car that day, and it wasn’t as brilliant as Max comeback from 17 to 1 in the car that wasn’t the fastest (btw, unlike Max, Lewis never won a championship in a car that wasn’t the fastest).
Thers Only One GOAT and next year we all see how Sir Hamilton takes his Crown back and become the One and Only True Champion.
