- This video is going to show you how easy it is to print on Mugs, Bottles and other rounded items. We will use Ghost White Toner and Multitrans Transfer Media to do the Job.

I completed my first mug today with my OKI laser toner and Forever paper, the difference to sublimation is extraordinary, the mug looks so much better and the quality of the finished print is perfectly in keeping with my expectations, thank you for your video.

Thank you for the video. I just found out that you make the White Toner not just for the printers that you use in the video, but for many different laser jet printers. This is a wonderful thing. I would like to see you make a mug using sublimation toners. I believe that sublimation makes a more wash and scratch resistant mug. I would love for you to make sublimation toners for the same printers you make white toner for. That would be even greater!
We actually do make Sublimation Toner for a printer that also can use the White Toner. HP Color Laserjet M452 Series. We upload a video soon where we print mugs with Sublime Toner.
Thank you. I'm aware that you make sublimation toners for the printer(s) that you sell, but I meant for as many printers as you make the ghost white toner for. I own an HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw. I would like to test the white toner soon, but maybe in the distant future you will have the sublime toner for this printer as well.
We will see what we can do. But for the moment it's only the M452.

Fantastic video, thanks for the easy to follow directions. We purchased a printer and ghost white toner through you. However, we're not having any luck with the print staying on the mug. We microwaved it for a minute after printing, but it didn't help any. Is there a trick to curing it well enough so it is washable in a dishwasher? Thanks!
We never had this issue. We had mugs beeing dishwashed 100reds of times. Of course at some point the print starts to fade but it never comes of easily. Please try more pressure and a different type of mug.

Full Color Images to dark mugs are a problem because usually the Multitrans Paper does not go through the printer well a second time.

This is not so easy as the second pass is not recommended with the Multitrans paper!
Does the machine you use effect the quality of the print? Or peeling right away would it damage the print? thank you
This process needs a cold peel so this is why we do not peel right away. The quality of the print is of course great!
Can you do wine glasses? If so, can you use a convention oven like sublimation?
In itself you can print on any type of glass
with wine glasses, you just have to approach the process a little more carefully.

Can I use any different laser printer with the same type of transfer paper? Is it the tonner with the transfer paper that allows the mugs to be printed or is it just the transfer paper?
We can only speak of our printers as we have only tested them. But theoretically, other printers outside of those listed on our website:www.ghost-white-toner.com/ghost-white-toner-for-your-printer/ should work as well, but we can't guarantee that.
the toner is printed on the transferfoil and from the transferfoil to the cup, as described in the video.
Can I print full color image and transfer it to the mug or shot glass?
Free your Mind yes of course! It works best on glass or lighter mugs.

Can we also cure the glass bottles or cups in the microwave? Or the cure process is only for the ceramics mugs ?
We recommend to put mugs in the oven for 15 minutes at 160 degrees celsius to increase the resistance, it is possible that it also works with glass but this has not been tested by us yet.
If I buy the Ghost White toner and the multitrans paper can I print a white and spot color orange with no black in it on the multitrans paper then transfer to a black mug?

Is this the same as Forever Multitrans? If so, it jams in my HP M452 every time. I selected “color transparency”. How did you get it to work?
The paper is very similar but our paper has a thinner coating!
What paper do you recommend for single color hard surface printing. I see forever laser dark and flex soft as options.

Because these prints aren't directed embedded into the hard substrate like it would be with sublimation onto polymer coated hard surfaces, is the durability as good or is the finish product not indefinite?
The finished product is indedinite. It last very long in the dishwasher and depending on the substrate it is also relatively scratch resistant.

So I tried FOREVER Multi Trans and it kept jamming, so I finally paid $100 including shipping to the U.S. for Ghost Multitrans paper... and it's jamming the same printer. HP Color LaserJet Pro M452nw. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also ich bin gerade etwas am verzweifeln. Sehe ich das richtig das man das Multitrans Papier nur 1x durch den Drucker lassen kann? Ich habe ein Logo erstellt wie bei der Transferfolie für T-Shirts (eine Datei Farbe, eine Datei mit dem Weisstoner). Nur es funktioniert nicht. Das Papier bleibt immer wieder im Drucker hängen. Gibt es irgend eine möglichkeit Farbig und Weiss auf das Multitranspapier zu drucken? Viele Dank und viele Grüße Domenico
HI Domenico. Leider ist die doppelte Bedruckung von Multitrans nur bedingt möglich. Man kann das Multitranspapier schon zwei mal Bedrucken allerdings kann es aufgrund der Beschichtung zu Papierstaus kommen. Leider funktioniert es auch nicht immer mit jedem Drucker. Wir empfehlen im Zweiten Druckvorgang die Einstellung Leichtes Papier.

Did you use a normal mug heat press machine? Or did you use a sublimation heat press machine? or they're both the same, it's just the process (one is laser transfer, the other sublimation transfer) that's different but same mug press machine can still be used for both?

You can't sublimate on dark mugs. What we show here is transfer using a transfer sheet. We recommend this technology for White Designs on dark mugs and colored designs on light mugs!

You create a color design and follow the same steps as in the video. It will look best on a white or light colored cup.

It's the best White you can get from a laser printer!
How can I print a cyan colour logo on a black mug?
Yes you can but is is a bit complicatet to run the Multitrans Paper twice trough the printer. It works best with HP CP5225 for now. Let the paper cool down after the first print and maybe flatten it overnight before running the second pass. It's worth trying but on your own risk.
