So I’m still not sure exactly what’s needed. Is the metallic paper used for white? What products exactly do I need to do the 4th step. Is there a written step by step process on you website?

Hi Sorry for the late reply
Unless you have a printer that can print out white ink, you have to either
- Cut out every single letter in shape
- Print out the letters with the same colour background as the surface you are trying to stick it to
Since the design you are willing to print out is very small, we do not recommend the first solution.
So print out design like this
- Background colour: Black
- Letters: White

very helpful video! for step 4 film free, does it leave a black underside of the white decal? Let's say its on a clear cup, would the white decal have a black underside if i were to look at it from the back?

Thank you that's a good question.
Yes, in this case the letters would look black from the back. If you don't like the black underside, you could try other dark colours and it could still work.
Darker the colour there is more toner present, so there is more chance that the transfer to work through.
Do you know if anyone has had success cutting your white film with a vinyl cutter rather than hand trimming letters?

Yes, it is much better to use a vinyl cutter. The only issue is that the machine is not very accessible to the public so we just recommend scissors.

Hi, this metallic decal paper doesn't need a glue. The glue is for the other product called "Film-Free" Metallic decal paper.
my laminator only has one speed, will this still work for method #4 using the metallic (white) decal paper?

Sorry we haven't tried painting them on our decal papers, so we can't really answer that question. You are going to have to try and found that out yourself.
I TRIED THE LAST METHOD AND IT WORKS GOOD. WAS JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY OTHER DIFFERENT COLORS OTHER THAN WHITE, GOLD AND SILVER? I WAS LOOKING FOR LIKE STANDARD COLORS LIKE GREEN AND ORANGE. CAN YOU HELP?

Question my dude; I've tried this but for some reason there's always a thin white border around the decal, basically the thickness of the paper. How did you manage to avoid that on your decal?
Also, ink always seems to dilute into the water, even a little, so I lose color around the edges. I've tried coating the sheet before and after cutting the decals out but it still happens.
He cut off the white border after he applied to the cup. After you print your decal paper out you need to spray with a clear gloss and wait till it dry

So it is one of three papers of so called Film-Free Metallic Decal Paper; the blue printing papers, white laminating sheets and the "metallic" films. In this video the films would be white so technically what you are transferring to the surface is the film. Hopefully that answers your question. :)
