I don't know why, but an org being destroyed by 2 early twenty year olds with the political acumen of trout scheming to join a notoriously corrupt and inept org, as well as the insanley incompetant decision by Heroic not sticking with Cadian is just hilarious to me
Its like every actor in the story just picked the worst dialogue options in the dialogue tree and it led to the outcome which made everyone look like absolute clowns

Fully on board with the heroic angle of yours. People think heroic is fucked. But let's be honest, heroic has astralis by the balls aswell and should use that: astralis NEEDS a good roster for the Copenhagen major. That's closer than 10 months. No stabbi no party for them, who else could they get? Heroic could really leave them out in the rain.
Also I just fucking pray for cadian that his new team (liquid) gives him the trophies he deserves, one of the best personalitys in the space!

I don't agree with the "a player should just retire"
Don't get me wrong i know they get washed and what not, but this is the one thing they love and know how to do, its hard to move on and "retire" when you are barely into your 30's so i'm not surprised when they keep pushing until no team will want them, many of them know they won't be coaches or analyst or don't have the personality or desire to go into streaming and question "what i'm going to do next" now i do blame orgs for keeping them in rotation even if some of them look like they don't want to practice but I don't blame the player for going for it

In traditional sports players in this position go play for a tier 2 team, they get paid a lot so their name and brand is used to sell jerseys and recruit up and coming players.
However the esports scene is ridiculously top heavy, so instead of doing this, in order to keep making the money they are used to they must stay in the top tier orgs depriving slots from players who actually want to be there.
There is no avenue for players in dupreeh's position to continue their career without doing it this way. Honestly I couldn't tell you why that is.

together, and the guys actually are liking each other genuinly.
cadian is a guy that makes me still watch cs after 20 years
of cs to be honest. you might not like him, but the energy
he puts into the esports is everything for me. there is guys
is like that are completely silent compared to him, but i see
them on the same level effort-wise. we dont know what really
happened, but i feel bad for cadian. i bet he thought he goes

I just want these hero legend players to build up the scene, and give the young players the knowledge and insight on playing the game at a high level. IN NORTH AMERICA WE HAVE NOBODY DOING THAT TO HELP US PAST TIER 1. WHERE ARE ALL THE VETERANS HERE? WE HAVE NOBODY THAT WANTS TO STICK AROUND AND DEVELOP ARGUABLY ONE OF THE WEAKEST REGIONS. It's not like any other region has those veterans who actually want to help out either. Brazil is no different and possibly even worse when it comes to players still thinking they deserve the spotlight. Everyone here knows who I'm talking about ;)

@@RLewisReports Not trying to engage in any meaningful or constructive discussion here since self-reflection or admitting fault is sadly not something I associate with you but it's just hilarious to me how Djokovic is literally 36 years old and still breaking records in one of the most physically and mentally taxing sports and you're out here critizing a 30 year old who has literally won a major THIS YEAR for not immediately retiring. Not even mentioning the fact how similiar esports requirements are to something like racing where you have alonso still outclassing most of the field at 42 years of age. But that doesn't fit your narrative now, does it? Calling people stupid just feels better than actually having to change your boomer ways of thinking where any fault is seen as a weakness.
I still appreciate your work for esports and think you're one of the best journalists in the scene, in case the previous paragraph hurt your ego too much.

hey richard, you have some really good reporting but sometimes your opinion and personal takes makes it hard to consume your content.
i saw you attacking someone about the dupreeh-retiring point, i agree with their point of dupreehs right to follow his passion.
i think your attack on gamerlegion and apex is also unwarranted. GL sold siuhy to mouz, and they won proleague with him. apex was dropping a lot of kills in malta. but i know what you are going to do, you always discount these points "haha, everybody is shit, the game is shit, cs2 just came out"
i mean its entertaining to watch you throw these "tantrums" about your personal opinions but it makes me understand why i dont see you anymore on broadcasts, its hard to take you as an serious journalists with that.
kinda ironic how you always talk shit about how unprofessional esports (players, teams, organizers) are, but i guess you are part of the scene.

The Danish scene needs to get its shit together and start lining up their stars in teams together before their scene goes the way of the dinosaur like we seen happen to Sweden, France and Brazil. Unlike the previously mentioned scenes, the Danish scene still has UNBELIEVABLE talent that can still click heads at the top level and its just Danish politics keeping them all apart (Also retardedly high buyouts of course and salaries!)
