This is the world's fastest off-road 7th scale rc car!! In this video I got my last run of the season in before all the ice melted. Unfortunately we didn't break the 100mph goal this year, but we got dang close with a 96mph run through slushy conditions causing my Castle Creations Xlx2 to go out. The complete build consist of Saw Blade Wheels customized to off-road speed run on ice. Castle Creations 2028 1700kv motor, Xlx2 with Ripple Killer Cappack, Onyx batteries, Ram Jam V2 spool and complete dive line, EM Performance motor mount and 0 degree rear hinge brace, Raz Perfect Pass V2 rear wing. Why does every xlx2 short or fry ? I had 3 esc. 1 xl and 2 pros and 2 of them died. Longevity hobbywing max 5 and 6 are my go to. But I’m not going 150+ mph.

I've actually been really surprised with the xlx2. I've been pushing the limits of it for two years. Made hundreds of passes pushing 400-700 amps, multiple crashes and even had to solder a motor bullet back on at one point. It can always use improvement, but I'm really happy with how they perform 💪

I got a 36 tooth pinion on my 560 kv motor..I wonder how fast it goes.

Low kv can take a big pinion, I bet it'll go quick

I got a 560kv motor and it does 76 mph with a 30 tooth pinion with the big fox buggy i got a 36 tooth pinion on the way.
