The visual difference from 100+mph and 89 is very apparent.
It’s so addictive that you’ll be at 130-150 in no time. Don’t stop pushing. Us watching you grow in speed running could be a good series for you.
The fact that that infraction is still in one piece though 😂. I honestly thought that it was going to break or end up hitting the curb. Good to see that it was still running afterwards, and also no major carnage to any rc cars. Welcome to the 100+mph club 😆.
Imagine having a dad as cool as Mark. Definitely a great role model . My father was only there for about 20% of my life. When I got older I started to form a relationship with him , but sadly he passed away about 7 years ago on his 50th birthday. I was 24 at the time of his passing. It's always good to see excellent fathers doing cool shit with their kids.

Graduation. I just bought my first RC nine months ago a Traxxas slash 4x4 ultimate three months ago I cracked 101 mph I guess it’s not bad for my first rc
nice job and congratulations! a tip for those using the advanced Gens Ace batteries: put strapping tape / velcro strap around the entire battery to prevent the cells inside from exiting the case in the event of collision. was an expensive lesson I learned on Christmas day (the top 3 cells in my 6s busted through the case when I had a full speed electronics runaway in my sledge meet up with a concrete island in the otherwise empty parking lot)

foam tires will have more grip and get you a little faster. the stock tires will loose traction too often and reduce your speed while the foams will grip way better

Nice. Traxxas hits a bump and smashes a shock shaft. ARRMA literally takes off at over 100mph, flies through the air.... lands and drives on. Great passes with the Limitless... congrats.
That Traxxas xo-1 got humiliated , poor handling at high speed.

Mark I did 106 on a v2 infraction all I changed was the esc to a MMX8s ran it on a single 6s geared 25/40. I did adjust front and rear droop screws on the suspension. Motor was the stock Arrma motor.
Friend of mine went 120 on 4S. Dual 4S parallel. Castle xlx2 and 1721 motor.

Mark you got the hook up on locations. I need a good spot to run off road desert racing style trucks like my Baja Rey(not bashing). Gravel, dirt, etc. That backyard course was nice but i'm sure there are some dirt roads still left in the area.

ive used that radar gun tends to read 4 to 5 mph slow. mine was when put up against a 1200 gun. so your 109 is prob correct or within 1 to 2 mph

Super insane speed video. Can u run the XO-1 on 8S with stock electronics?.
The stock electronics in an XO-1 is only rated for 6s and besides the entire platform isn't made for 8s use. I had run my XO-1 on 8s with a HW Max 6\4985 1,650KV combo in the past but it was too much power for bashing around so i primarily run it on 4s nowadays and might move to 6s again when i have the money for new 3s batteries. If you have an XO-1 yourself i'm not attacking you i have one to but if you want to run 8s you should look into an Infraction or Limitless V2 or a Hobao VTE2 which are designed right out of the box to run that kind of power.
Look up carwow. They did a drag race with a highly tuned limitless, an NSX and a championship winning redbull formula1 car. Very interesting race.

Hi just coming back to this video since i've been making progress in my R\C hobby i hope to someday hit 100+mph with R\C cars especially my XO-1 and an Arrma Limitless when i get and build one someday. I've ran my XO-1 today for the first time in over a couple of months and i got inspired by many videos to start doing more stuff with on roads. As i said i hope to buy a Limitless V2 sometime next year tomorrow i'll have my first Arrma an Outcast 8s EXB roller up and going and i definitely plan to buy more Arrma, Losi, other brand cars and less Traxxas vehicles moving forward. I've been too scared to put the speed pinion in my Infraction. It's already scary for me on the 'slow' pinion lol. I usually just drift about with it though.

how do you find the handling out of box setup?
the 8s in the infraction gave me the feeling it would crash (take a bit of time to adjust yourself to this before running full or high speed)
