    To prevent it from lifting off, I learned from Raz Shifrin. You won’t need the front wings and to cut down the rear one to basically flat. You also want the car to be higher in the rear and lower in the front giving it a rake. I’ve had the car take off on me on the spektrum 6s electronics before, and since I did that I’ve never had a issue

      🤔 running that motor correctly? Did I miss something?
      Thought it shouldn’t run back to back 💭

      Thanks matrix!
      Hi Kevin. No you didn't miss something. You wouldn't be able to tell as I didn't share the data. How many back to back runs is relative to Temps. The power system is laughing on 6s. Could run continuously back to back.

      Thanks Mo. It's really not me it's the setup that makes it so easy. I should shoot a video of my car from back around 2010 to show the difference.

    Lower the front end and put more preload on the rear shocks. Have the front angled down and you wont need the front wings. Nice job reaching your goal!

    • @RCexplained
      @RCexplained  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true however I'm not so sure the extra drag from the front lips will even matter so much at these low top speeds.

    Great work so far. Given your large viewer base I'd love to see you advocate safe practices like standing on a ladder. I'd be happy to provide advice if you want to go significantly faster. Radio range, shock travel, tires, and some other factors will be your next challenge.

    • @JIPPERR_1
      @JIPPERR_1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Love the ladder for safety idea. I've seen this in other speed run vids but always thought it was for for line of sight, radio range etc. Didn't consider the safety aspect of it, definitly a good idea.

  • @benhamer9125
    @benhamer9125 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    its not front aero that's the problem the issue is the rear spoiler pushing the back end down so its lower than the front the air gets under the chassis. droop the front end to 10/12mm then sit the car on a desk push the rear end down until the back is just above level with the front say +2mm then slip some plastic/stiff rubber fuel tube over the rear shock shaft to limit the rear squat.

  • @RCOverKill
    @RCOverKill 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You might not need them without the GPS there, it's causing some drag/lift on the rear. You might need a ladder or something to stand on too.

    With this setup you need on full throttle after the car pass you. They have more speed to offer.

    • @RCexplained

      we are geared correctly for 100mph. This gearing is way under geared to hit much more and that was the point described in previous videos.

    • @RCexplained

      I'll have to check the other video again where we calculate the gearing required for 100mph. It's somewhere around 22P/42S.
