    cbilton.creato... With beginner jewellers in mind who are practicing making jewellery only in silver I thought it would be helpful to share this way of constructing a single stone ring.
    Its quick and easy. Just 2 pieces of metal and 4 solders completes the whole thing!
    Not only that, it is really strong. I can imagine even sizing it up on a ring stretcher with the stone set will be possible!
    There's even more good news.... This is a full instructional guide that (unusually for the channel) can be viewed in entirety here in this video. However, there is a part 2.
    In part 2 I will explain how once you have completed this ring you will have the ability to create a real show stopper of a ring. I explain what needs to be done and how to do it.
    To find out how, you need to become a Diamond Mounter patron.
    / @diamondmounterbites8861
    Check out the new Diamond Mounter side channel!
    Its called 'Diamond Mounter Clips'
    Its compiled of short clips taken from previous videos to
    highlight useful techniques and information I was teaching.
    No intros, no outros just straight to the essence of what
    was useful in the video!
    Please follow the link below to go to the Patreon page and sign up to either becoming a classic or official patron. There is a monthly charge from just £5 a month which will enable you to gain access to not only this full instructional guide but all of them on the entire channel!
    Compared to the cost of joining other jewellers over priced online courses that cant offer the quality or variation of jewellery making that I can, the patron fee must surely be considered a bargain!
    www.patreon.co...
    There is now an entry level tier which costs just £1 a month.
    Its named the supporter tier which allows you to support the channel with out any substantial financial obligation. I will thank you personally on the next Diamond Mounter video uploaded!
    All new entire Diamond Mounter full instructional guides are reserved for classic and official patrons of the channel only.
    Part 1 of the guides will be available on youtube and part 2 will only be available through the Diamond Mounter patreon account.
    The full instructional video guides are very in depth and clearly show all techniques and tools used at every stage to make the piece being taught.
    The full guides are commonly over 2 hours long.
    Please click the link to be taken to the Diamond Mounter patreon page where you can join.
    www.patreon.co...
    I have been lucky enough to have been taught by actual Bond Street shop jewellers and my ambition is to share what I have learned through out my career to as many people as possible.
    My vehicle to do this is the Diamond Mounter TH-cam channel and its time to take it up a level.
    I hope you will consider becoming a patron!

    I really love watching you make beautiful pieces of jewelry which I love to do but but I I never bought a soldering piece piece of equipment. Could you show making a ring ring 💍 without a soldering piece piece of equipment..I UNDERSTAND EVERYONE HAS one but I always forget to get one. ❤

    Very nice work! I am so happy to have found you. Your work is so professional. I sell Jade to my customers in USA. I totally understand your dilemma about the international postal service. I live in Thailand. Last year, A customer had to wait almost a year for her package to get to Hawaii. We track everything for our customers but there is only so much we can do. I have even sat all night long on the phone with USPS trying to locate a missing package, many times. The Covid pandemic has made it very difficult for sending stuff. I just hope customers understand what we go through for them. Thank you for sharing your skills.

    For seating the shank in the setting I usually use a "chernier file". A sort of flat file that only has teeth on the edges. Makes things a lot easier

    Please don't laught, I know that you are an experienced jeweler, I would like to ask as a very beginner person, what I can do with some scrap of sterling silver, e.g. after making a ring or after cutting something out of a silver sheet. I work from home and I have no special devices . Thank you for your chanel you are very helpful

    • @JayDub_143
      @JayDub_143 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use scrap silver in a bunch of pretty resourceful ways.. You can ball it up to make decorative elements which you can use in shot plates or just as a ball, you can also make a larger ball then flatten it out with a hammer and use stamps to either put a design on the piece or I have found even initials are useful and then I will add a birthstone to make it a personalized piece of jewelry. I hope a couple of these help😁

    • @DiamondMounter
      @DiamondMounter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes like JaNet said if you can melt it in to small balls and flatten them with a hammer to get small round shapes
