In this new star wars map, Darth Vader and Vader's Fist Stormtrooper Legion are doing a death charge into the Tantive IV in a huge Ship Boarding Invasion against the Rebel Army Ship Defenses. Can Darth Vader's Stormtrooper army invade the Ship Defenses and take out the Rebel Army? This was made using the men of war star wars mod. #starwars #battle #darthvader

honestly the tantive boarding scene is one of my favorites because its one of the few scenes that really show stormtroopers as this elite fighting force and not just cannon fodder

The TANTIVE IV is in the Rise of Skywalker as part of the large fleet but during that battle it is destroyed. It's at the resistance base at the start of the movie as well
My favorite moment is that terrible defense in the beginning. Like 16 dudes all aiming at a small ass door and only got one kill
I loved that moment too, but the Rebels killed like three or four. Where like you said, they lost ten.

The reason the Imps had a better time than usual is because they had their specialist troopers (the ones with the yellow pauldrons). These guys have all the heavy equipment like Z6s and such.
If you want to use them in your battles, they are in a separate category I believe, although I haven't played the mod for a while so I can't remember exactly. They definitely add a bit more oomph to the pretty lacklustre Imperial arsenal in this mod, and they would be a fine addition to any Rico's Brigade or other cinematic content you will do in the future.

10:21 In the EU, the Tantive 4 was destroyed once everyone was dead, just as Vader ordered in the films.
In Disney Canon, the Tantive 4 somehow ends up derelict in an old imperial facility (despite Vader ordering it to be destroyed), and a senator refurbishes it and gifts it to Leia.
Why did they come up with that story? Because somehow the Tantive 4 returned in Episode 9, the Rise of "Skywalker" to serve as the Resistance's 'flagship'. It is flown by the famous Nien Nunb (Lando's copilot in ROTJ) and is destroyed by Palpatine's force lightning.
I really love these battle with Hero units, makes it feel more cinematic and this side series of recreating canon battles in general is cool too. No biblically accurate Vader at the end this time though like in the Hoth battle.
Fav moment of a new hope is def when Luke gets his first lightsaber from Obi Wan.
