Making Honey Caramels

- Honey Caramel Recipe
1 cup Honey
3/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
6 tablespoon of butter
Mix honey and heavy whipping cream on medium heat. Use a thermometer and heat to 275 degree F. When honey and cream reaches 275 take off heat and add butter and vanilla. Mix well and place in a buttered pan. Place in fridge to cool. Cut and roll in either wax or parchment paper.

They are very good !!!, try some with chocolate melted an poured on after you put Carmel in pan, just saying, mmmm !!!
We will have to try that next time! We ❤️ chocolate too! Maybe layers of chocolate with the caramel in middle!
@@GivenChancesFarm i tried that last yr, only thing I found out is you have to cut it into pieces pretty quick because chocolate gets so much harder than Carmel, sure is a great combination though, perfect with some of that ice cream. Now I'm hungry again. Lol 😄
We do like our ice cream and I’m can always eat don’t have to be hungry. Lol

Is the caramel so soft because it wasn't completely set or because it's always that soft when you cook to 270?
It’s softer in comparison to store bought but it is still able to be wrapped in wax paper and is chewy.
