That actaully worked. Mine was 100 pings which was already unplayable spiking all the way up too 9999. After following the steps mine has now DROPPED to below 50 pings so nice one. Thumbs up

Whenever I play Minecraft, the latency on the game is very noticeable but every other game is perfectly fine for latency. People the only way to get very low ping is contacting you're isp and letting them know. Plus if you're main connection (telephone pole) is far away from you're router/modem that's the actual problem. You're internet has to be very close to you to have a very low ping. I have Xfinity internet and my main connection is house over where the telephone pole is. I get between 40-80ms on my xbox one s.... But on my laptop I get 0-10ms so it's crazy. I've upgraded my router/modem even got a plan of 900/20 mbps nothing changed! It's all about distance from where you're outside connection is.

Your upload & download speed won’t drastically improve your ping, it’s the servers of the game. (See if they are close to your location)
