To all the recent people commenting about internet being fine but in game it lags, it could be due to either the Host of the lobby if so but also because of Covid more people are home so high traffic on internet providers in that area might be real high causing lag

I never had my ping over 30ms for over a year it just started lagging like crazy 200+ in the past month but i have the same wifi and when i test it it says 40ms ping but as soon as i jump in a game bam 200+

It worked for a few minutes, but then my game started lagging again.
My ping usually is 25, the highest it will spike to is 50-60 which is really good but recently when I play COD I’ll lag like crazy, I’ve restarted my router and it helped like the first two games I played but then it started again

The only games that I feel are really laggy for me are Apex, Mw, and Cold War. Let me know if anybody has similar issues I’ve watched about 20 videos and can’t find anything that works because my ms maxes out from 30-999 ms when my average ms used to be 20-30. same it’s only in mw and warzone nothing helps but it says 50 ping but when i play my game just freezes sometimes and other times i have huge lag spikes that a can’t even move i’ve never lagged like this and nothing helps

@@ericeggers9562 I would say clearing your persistent storage and clearing your alternate mac address. You can also turn your xbox from instant on to energy saving. That essentially makes your xbox boot up slower but will focus more on smoothing out your games. You can look up how to do those three things. If none of these work then you can contact your isp and tell them you have a faulty router/modem and they should replace it free of charge.
Fifa is ridiculous I play a fut champs game and the delay from me pressing a and the ball actually leaving the players foot is fucking ridiculous
