@@mackskates3023 you see I’ve tried that but my Wi-Fi’s Ethernet cable is not plugged into the Ethernet plug in the wall, plus it’s also too small for any of the normal Ethernet’s I have. The reason why I can’t move it is because we have a flat screen and it’s mounted up on a ship lapped fireplace. It’s a giant box with a tv and a fireplace.

From all of my experiences with my Xbox and other consoles storage was never the problem because it has nothing to do with lag. Because you are not running those games at the moment you are only running one ever at any given time unless you have a Series which in that case I believe you can run two. But I am almost positive that your storage has nothing to do with your lag or stuttering issues

Just another tip, sorry if someone has listed this already, but make sure ******* if your running some super nice tv or monitor , grab a gold tipped 4k cable. They matter -> sad to admit, there actually worth the money. I have a tv that can go up to 8k, n a monitor, this is in relation to apex legends too on xbox. On my tv with that cable its flawless, without it, on my monitor, just to test the difference, it's day and night what issues I face.. now they may be minimal, but with fps, u need the advantages your opponent will most likely have , gain the upper hand, and nuke all the nonsense grafix in these games, it will spike everything possible.

How do you delete your games from internal storage and convert it to external storage?
Ever since my previous previous update.. two updates ago... When Xbox did a new layout into Xbox party.. for me Xbox party sounds like everyone is underwater.. secondly I would have large stuttering, my games would freeze, running slow on games but it says my ping is perfectly fine.
I heard after the party update that they are going to be putting discord app to be paired up with your discord if you want to use discord... Even with the streams as well. As of right now it's in beta mode.

You don’t need a cat 8 Ethernet cable guys any cat 5 or cat 5e cable will be sufficient unless your router is capable of delivering speeds over 1000mb per seconds. You could get the cat 8 but your consoles network card can on do up to 1000mb per second

Off the exact topic of the video, but on a XSX, does it really matter how many games you have downloaded if they’re just parked on an High Capacity External Powered USB Drive? I have over 200 parked on a 12TB WD Black D10 and just move games over to the Seagate Expansion SSD that I plan on playing for a few weeks and move them back to the Platter Drive when I take a break from them.
I think if it’s external, it’s fine. If it’s the internal hard drive, you should probably make changes.

1) The style of connection today's wired and WiFi routers use is called ethernet. Hooking a Cat5 or higher ethernet cable to a device isn't hooking it to "an ethernet". It's making a wired connection to your ethernet router. Sorry, I'm a nerd and that bugged me, you said it a bunch.

oh please people stop suggesting dropping to 720p.series s is a 1080p native device. therefore it always renders at 1080p.itll then scale it down to 720p. so you're adding an extra process that may actually cause it to lag more

When I play fortnite my average ping is around 20 to 25 not bad but I keep in getting terrible lag spikes every 10 seconds which makes any game really unplayable and for example Fortnite I always see the wifi logo with a big red ❌ on my screen that literally doesn’t go away for atleast a second
My ping on fortnite is 10-15 ms however when I shoot at someone my gun only registers maybe 10% of the damage even if the enemy stands still

My biggest problem is all my multiplayer games except one work just fine no lag , the one game I have issue has just so bad lag that I would move and it would freeze for 3 seconds and return firing a gun after 6 secs from button press, I can play cod just fine and even rainbow six siege idk what to do I have only 3 games installed on a 2 tb system so I know that's not the issue, latency is 38, download speed 700mb/s , 0 packet loss , Ethernet so I have no idea what the issue truly is

No, if you are talking about your tv presets or gaming monitor presets unfortunately that’s the way it is. You can though switch , if there is an option, to customize it your own presets.. just won’t be gaming though

yea dbd and apex both have huge stutter spikes for a lot of people on the xbox one. Its really annoying
that's not your internet, that's just the hardware struggling with the newer more demanding games. You should consider trying to upgrade to a newer xbox if you can get your hands on one.
edit:for apex, if you're on max fov, turning that down will help reduce the burden on the console and you will probably experience that less
@@short-eu7bs I've been trying to get a series x for a while now but I can't get one without bots taking them all In seconds. This is new though cause before next gen released, all my games played fine. I don't get why they are pushing so many updates on these games for the next gen consoles when maybe 5 people actually have the console right now and the majority is on the old gen. Its making a lot of games unplayable atm. Dark Souls just got the update for next gen(or at least my friend just got it now) and it instantly started making my game feel sluggish and delayed a slight bit.
