- Potholders are so simple to make! They are a good item if you sell what you make as they don’t take very long, and would make simple, affordable gifts. I’d suggest you use 100% cotton fabric.
This is the holder I made in the live chat but without the chat!
Materials:
2 x 8” [20cm] circles of outer fabric
2 x 8” [20cm] circles of lining fabric
2-3 circles of thermal wadding/batting depending on manufacturer’s instructions
5” x 3” [13cm x outer fabric for the loop
All fabric and Bosal thermal fleece available from www.debbieshoresewing.com
Love this ❤️❤️
Cute potholder. I made 98 one year for Thanksgiving food baskets. This would make cute ones for this year. Thank you. Peggy Sue from Maine USA

Love this!
Lovely little pot holders.
What are your seam allowance please 🌼
What type of sewing machine doesn’t need you to hold a tail of thread in the beginning, and that cuts it automatically at the end?

@ Debbie Shore. What can I use instead of the thermal stabilizer? We do not have that here?
Hi, you will need that if you are using to get things out of the oven. If you are only using to handle pots and pans on the stove top, use 2 circles of wadding per holder.
@@ornelladay2041 Thank you very much. Much appreciation.
I assume u r using a quarter inch seam?
Sorry I should have said, yes!
These are adorable! I’ve already made one for myself, I’m going to make a few as gifts next. I love that they can be hung on the wall to store things in. ❤

Hi Debbie I have lots of your books ,we’re do you get your inspiration from for your projects.
I honestly don't know, sometyimes things just pop into my head, sometimes I see an item that I think I can simplify and make...
so simple when you demonstrate how to make it.
I'm getting old and forgetful. I can't ever remember which way to put the shiny side of the reflective bosil. In or out?
Normally shiny out...
@@debbieshore I just figured out how to remember!!!! Show yours shiny self to everyone. (Shiny side out.) Haha
Thank you wonder how you demonstrate
