It is. Your reviews are honest. I’m on Xbox SX but only recently. I purchased a lot, including V1 flight yoke, stick, etc. your channel allowed me to make informed decisions about what planes to buy and I’ve bought a lot. More than that I feel we are kindred spirits because I really love the bush flying and GA aircraft. I find the “airliner’s” boring unless it’s old school kind of stuff. I also love the float planes. I live in the Northwest near Seattle so your orcas island flying feels right at home.

Saw this beast fly overhead when I was stationed at Erhac AB Turkey, I saw a huge shadow cover us when I looked up saw Hugh wings, got my attention for sure. At that time in my life I never heard of the Vulcan but I never forgot her. Ahhhh good times in my life😀👍🇺🇸🪖🪖

That landing! Anybody can land with the gear down. A true pilot can safely land with the gear UP!
Love the content and character of your content. I don’t think pedantic word use is part of the charm, so I’ll direct this at the audience in general: The control surfaces on a delta wing are ELEVONS - Elevator + Ailerons. Keep having fun in the virtual skies everyone!

When i scanned the POH, I seem to recall reading that the weapons bay doors are, in fact, designed to double as a lubricant. +1 British Engineering !

Having seen XH558 both when she was with the RAF and VTS, this simulation of the Vulcan is really impressive! Lucy was also really fascinated. Flight sim videos are evidently something else she enjoys watching!
IIRC, RAF Valley was one of the dispersal airfields for the V Bomber Force back in the ‘60s. So, Vulcans probably regularly flew in those skies..
So I bought this before your video, I could not wait and I'm commenting before I've watched the video.
Overall I think it is pretty damn good and they did let us know beforehand what we were and weren't getting for the most part. I think the price could have been $25 USD but I can't really complain too much because I had a lot of fun in it last night. Now I get to hear the Av Angel verdict.

Well you know what they say. There are two types of pilots - those that have landed wheels-up, and those that are going to.
I know that Just Flight has taken a great deal of care gathering the sound sets from a real Vulcan,. I'm curious to know where that loud scraping noise we heard towards the end of the video came from..😂
To fly this plane and start Wil clicking on plces in cocpit wil it work or do you have to set up in controls in the controls in sim. I don't know how to set up other wise
Yeah its just click and go, your controls are mapped as per usual.
You're close with Flaperons, but she doesn't have flaps, the actual term you're after is Elevons :)

I have no idea, I don't use simbrief.
Ooof. I won’t give you too hard a time, since you seem to really enjoy modern digital tools and flying… buuuut. If your first instinct with a classical jet is to fire up the GPS and look for a way to import SimBrief, I’d say take some time to smell the roses and enjoy some good old fashioned radio navigation at first, so you can experience the havoc of the time. Of course the real aircraft had a navigator to yell headings at the pilot, so maybe GPS simulates that better. But at least take the time to hand program the GPS yourself - even modern preserved warbirds tend to have a small GPS unit that demands the same, and not a high end GXXXX suite or an FMS that just sucks up a flight plan from an outside source. Enjoy the wresting and the struggle, it builds your relationship with the bird.
