- Hello everyone,
Thank you for clicking on this video, great to have you back, or welcome if you're new! Today, I'm looking at teaching interviews, more specifically how to answer the most awkward questions. Consider this your free interview guidance or help on how to answer questions, such as "Tell me about yourself" and "What is your greatest weakness?"
As promised in the video, I have created a downloadable document which has a customisable template, a filled in examples and examples to fill in the gaps of the template. It's a total of 5 pages just for THREE questions. That's the level of thoroughness we're looking at here! Here is the link to download: www.petiteprimary.com/product...
Of course, if you want to prepare more and you'd like my workbook and example answers with 50 questions (!!!!), then you can download it here: www.petiteprimary.com/intervi...
If you found this helpful or interesting, don't forget to like, comment and subscribe for more teacher-related content in future!
As always, my links are down below, so feel free to get in touch!

Hi! you are so good at helping me you have no idea. I have an interview for PGDE 17/1/24 and no nothing about curriculum or teaching in Scotland (similar to the Italian one maybe). I have just downloaded your 50 questions but i need a summary of teaching in Scotland if you have some material thanks :-)
Have replied to your email x
Hi, Thank you so much for all the helpful videos. ❤I am going to pursue PGCE through school route .Have a question about admission. I live in Wembley, London presently and going to move in sutton area in July. I haven’t finalised a home yet. In this case how can I fill up an application form? As the first thing you have to do is fill contact details and then choose a course and If i get a shortlisted how would I discuss school placement location? I am really confused should i wait until I move out i.e. July
Please help.
I personally wouldn't leave it until July, lots of training providers may be full by then. I'd put your current address and then maybe at the interview mention it or inform them when you do move?
@@PetitePrimary Thank you so much for prompt reply to my query. Appreciated! I’ll go ahead and fill the form.

Hi , I’m 8 months into PGCE secondary and I absolutely loved it until they sent me to placement B . So toxic and the mentor is so narcissistic and arrogant and this is a terrible thing to experience
Hey,
I'm sorry to hear this. Thank you for reaching out and speaking about it though. Always best to not keep it inside. Will you be back to placement A soon? X
@@PetitePrimary hello there , you’re much more sympathetic than my mentor did you know that by asking this question. Well no , I’m not going back and I’m medically on leave for two weeks , have done my assignments so I have got nothing to worry about. It’s only the final progress point that I need to tick box . I have told the university how unhealthy it is for me to return and that these people are bunch of hypocrites . My mentor is the devil himself.
@@moments8838 Take those two weeks to try and recharge as best as you can x
@@PetitePrimary I will …the mentor ran out of excuses as every week she came up with an excuse. Last time she said I needed to write fully scripted lesson plans for each solo lesson , and you’re talking about 6-10 solo teaching a week not to mention the lesson preparation, assignments etc . I did what said and she literally ran out of excuses. Anyway, I’m on leave and will definitely relax and unwind and I will hopefully finish my PGCE in a different placement in May until late June .
