Nice review Jake!!!! Professional.... Congratulations on your new bike!!!! Believe me, hardtails are really fun. I love them !!!! Enjoy your new ride and ride Safe!!!!!
Thanks Malik, that’s very kind of you. I’m not keeping the bike, but it was really fun, 1 thing that was on my mind is that did my riding progress, or was it all due to my Full suspension bike. Glad to say that hardtail is not as horrible as I imagined it to be. Now I really want one that I can easily throw around! Maybe go straight to a 26” DJ
@@RidesWithJake a DJ is a must have toy!!!! Believe me, you will fall in love the moment you ride a DJ. I have a Marin Alcatraz and just love riding it all the time. DJs are amazing bikes to build up your skills
@@RidesWithJake my son, who is 6 and really getting into cycling now, really enjoyed the video as well. It's inspiring for him to see what you can do on the bike and how confidently you talk about your passion. Keep it up!
Hi, I'm 135cm, for kids bikes, get the biggest that you can "reach" so as long as the rider can still tip toe on the ground it should be good. Measure the distance between the floor and the crotch of the rider, and compare that with the "stand over height" from the bike's geometry.
@@RidesWithJake Thanks for the info. My daughter is very close to your height (136.5 cm). I measured her inseam and can't find any 26" or 27.5" bikes that she can stand over, so I'm considering the Xtrada 24. My concern is that she will outgrow it quickly so I'm a little on the fence with dropping the money.
It seems on the heavy side for a 24-inch wheel and hardtail frame. Perhaps list out the frame/part interface standards so the viewer does not have to research the standard of each part you listed (hugely inconvenient). For example, give the headset bearing specs, steering tube, handlebar diameter, front/rear axel diameters, dropout spacing and crank standard. That way the viewer would know how compatible the frame is with other vendor's parts when the time comes to replace worn out parts.

Review new cycle vivelo tornado
Hi Aman, thank you for you comment.
Vivelo is not available here in Australia, unfortunately.
Awesome review mate, thank you
Can you do a review in like a 200 bike broke?
can the rims be made tubeless?
I’m afraid not, they’re not tubeless ready. I have another video which I showed a HACK, but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the trouble.
How tall are you (Jake)? I'm just trying to get an idea of the rider height appropriate for the bike besides what Polygon publishes.
