Another amazing video. Can’t wait to watch the recreation video and the second drum cover. (Which I’m hoping is Change (in the house of flies), because I’m obsessed with the sound of the drums on that album.
I really enjoy your playing. I love the look of your studio. Spacious and beautifully lit. My vids are pretty cool looking in a very different way but your vids are very classy. Congrats!
Thank you so much for this great cover 🙏 I've been waiting for Deftones for a very long time 💙🔥🥁 Maybe you'll record something else of theirs. World ☮️
Really nice! Swap that Gretsch for a Tama and you have basically the gear used on the album. And fee a little more Pascal so he can hit as hard as Abe and that's it.
FINALLY YOU'RE DOING ABE CUNNINGHAM, I've waited years for this 😭😭😭😭
It took me 20 plus years to figure out they the verse is played on the bell of the hihat. It makes me appreciate his creativity even more.
Dang. Those Zildjians are looking mighty nice in this video! Sound is superb on the entire kit! Well done.
It's impossible to know a song from two drum hits.
Pascal, hold my beer........
man i love those ringy clanky snares so much!
This is most definitely the best format of a drum cover video in terms of being able to enjoy the cover and then learn how to play the song.
Long overdue! Let’s put some respect on Abe Cunningham’s name! 👑 of the 👻 🎶

Abe Cunningham was def a huge influence on my drumming
Pascal, you are a beast behind the kit! Always love watching your covers.
Thank you for this one!! Graduated high school 1989 and when I heard this song for the first time it fueled my desire to be a drummer.
that snare snounds scrumptious
this is what Lars tried to do in St Anger and failed miserably
YESSSS!🎧
I like the ghost notes! first one to actually do that! NICE!
So many cover this wrong. You get all the little intricacies and ghost notes. Great job.

Abe was not playing Tama at the time, but an OCDP kit ;)
@@jean-charlesdurand9127 Oh yes, you are right.
@@jean-charlesdurand9127which is basically the same shells DW was using at the time and DW now owns both Gretsch and OCDP lol
What about scott phillips??
So awesome! But I think the panning of the overheads has been reversed...
A bit too St. Angery on the snare. But otherwise the tuning and playing is perfect 🤘🤘
lol not St. anger by a mile
Nice but please describe how it's done
of all the recreation videos this guy has done this one is the closest to the original sound
So the secret sauce was hihat bell... duuuuude, all this time.
