If you dig deep you can found the division had initiated when blacks were considered "son of ham" and colonial power took it upon themselves to "liberate" of their sins. the Belgian did just that they favoured the tutsi in the beginning of political , economic, cultural favour and when things begin to crumble they switched sides. and the cycle continued untill they left Rwanda in ravages.
