Well I believe çok yaşa because culturally especially in middle Easteren countries when you sneeze you are close to what happen when you soul leave your body. So when you sneeze and not die then we wish you be able to live for a very long time. I don’t know if this has to be historically related to Turkey but many phrases used in Turkey are very understandable to most nations in the Middle East more than English/western cultures.

Instead, with several phrases you could teach us other ways of saying the same content. For example: "you were right", there you could also teach: "I was wrong" etc

Means are you free this weekend. And etc. My actual point is no that the translations are wrong because they are not but if a person is learning Turkish, the exact or closest meaning is the best to know. It will make the person adapt in the language faster.
