Aside from Moment, I didn't know the other lens brands very well. I liked how neat the Neewer products are. Now, have you tried Freewell? I read a lot of good things about them and got the snow mist filter and their macro for a test run. How do you think the brand fare against others? Also, due to my setup being on the heavier side, I went with the Moza Mini-P max but, by the end of the year, I'll have upgraded to the Moza Aircross S.

So LUTs impact color and exposure whereas lenses impact focal length and scene compression. So realistically the two aren't really connected so you're free to use or not use them with any lens!

Excellent video and info. Thanks. Question: I photograph wildlife, and birds in particular. That requires a more substantial amount of clear optical zoom power. Are there telephoto lenses of higher magnification than the one (low power) you showed in this video? Would love to turn my S24 Ultra into a camera I can use for wildlife/birds. Thanks!

I noticed you mentioned the remote for the camera. You might not be aware, but the s-pen that comes included in the phone has the functionality built in. You can press the button on the pen to start and stop recording and take pictures.

To use 60 mm Telephoto lens, Variable ND Filter or Cinebloom, do you have to use 3 different mounting case? Will it be possible to use one case that fits all 3 lenses?
hi mate how do you managed to attach the s24ultra with the neewer phone rig on the hohem isteady m6. I got the same gear but i cant attach my phone with the neewer rig on as it was too bulky.

So, what would happen if I were to change my phone after having bought all these accessories for let's say the S24 Ultra? Image I want the S26 Ultra at some point (if it ever comes out). Do all these goodies suddenly become useless or is it just the cage that becomes useless (and with that everything else that is compatible with it)?
I'm simply not sure whether to upgrade my phone and buy all the accessories I want/need, because if it's going to lead me to being unable to upgrade my phone again after that without spending a lot of money on re-buying all the accessories again, then it makes me question the actual idea of using a phone in the first place. Upgrading a phone is expensive enough, let stand having to buy the complete accessories set all over again for that specific phone version.😵

Can't find the side handle that has the Bluetooth shutter. The link you provided seems its just for the quick connect handle without the shutter.

But are there still restictions with video rate with the DJI6 and the S24 ultra. E.g. can you make videos in 120 frs? Thank you for your time!
Yes you can shoot in 120fps on the s24 ultra!

Yes just don’t use the DJI mimo app. Most of time when I film using a gimbal I use the native camera app.

Didn’t you just say in the last video that you don’t recommend lenses for camera phones?
i just got the neewer s24 cage today and while it is awesome and super sturdy, but it really doesn't fit in the hohem gimbal. i was barely able to open it to the max and force it in sliding it in from the bottom, there would be no way to just open it and have it clamp down on the case. i feel like the hohem clamp will be breaking very soon trying to make it fit with any sort of repeated use. do you have any tips on making it fit in there better? even 1cm more opening would make life so much better for the combo. i really want to keep the cage to use with my lenses, but not at the expense of breaking the phone clamp. Thanks for the great videos!
im starting to think im going to have to remove it from the cage every time i want to use the m6 and get a janky lens clamp and go back and forth nonstop while filming

I love moment lenses, and still recommend them. Shiftcam, momen, and neewer are almost all identical
Hey I have a big question. I want to buy an Anamorphic lens and but there's an option to buy one with a blue or yellow filter. Are they meant to be used in certain conditions like using the yellow in a sunny day? I'm not really sure since I haven't been able to find any answer from people covering the same topic.
I think they refer to the yellow/blue streak or flare that usually comes as options for those lenses. If so, they are simply choices for the color or "J. J. Abrams"-isn flares are when capturing light sources.
@@HIR0SE I ended up buying a telephoto lens, macro telephoto and a wide angle lens. I think these are the only lenses I need because I don't really plan on making videos and the anamorphic lenses looks like it's only meant for filming.
My neewer cage just got delivered also. Currently I'm using Freewell's case and mounting system.

I have ton of Freewell filters but for this phone it's pure waste of money. I have various 77mm filters so all I need is 67to77 filter adapter and I can use my "normal" filters with the Neewer cage. If it ever comes as they still don't send it over although the website saya there are stock. 😅 Edit: He actually explained that later the video so nevermind, haha
@@MrPaulXavier some of the filters get in the way of my Hagibus magsafe nvme enclosure. I may have to use a cold shoe mount instead for external storage.

Lowkey, I have a like new Hohem MT2 Gimbal with the Ai camera for sale if anyone wants it. It’s not bad, I just decided to use my DJI RS2 for tracking instead.
Unless your doing long exposure or videos, the nd filters just aren't needed. Day to day images can be great by manipulating the shutter and iso in pro mode. I tested with and without nd filters and the results were pretty much the same 🤷🏽♂️

The rgb color doesn't matter to me btw, despite 2 of these having them. And the slight price difference is fine. If you have an alternative suggestion I am open to that.

s24 ultra expert raw has software based Density filter, ofcourse not good as physical filter but still.

Just to correct this misinformation.
You can use the Dji Gimbal with the s24 ultra. You can do both of the features he listed. Not sure what issue he was having.

for information... no the case of a s23 ultra doesnt fit a s24 ultra. The s24 is more compact, and the 23 as more rounder edge and corner. Sadly samsung make phone so fast that third party accessories have a hard time to follow. i wish shiftcam had it

It is the mechanical zoom on the camera. Same issue in the s20 ultra but not technically an 'issue'

The only best option for Samsung S24 ultra is Freewell system rest all I bought and return.

@@MrPaulXavier what's the reason to try that? keep putting cage on & off? with Freewell I can slap the filter on in less than second with magnets & phone goes into my pocket with secure case.

Warning... the s24 ultra does NOT fit the newer case. It doesn't open wide enough without almost breaking and squeezing the case into the gimbal - we should have been told this in the review. Clearly you were paid.
Huh…? We weren’t paid at all. It’s definitely a tight squeeze but ours fits perfectly. You can see us actually using it throughout the video
