@@taurusking_1997 Possibly. Not everyone is cut out to be a parent. (As this anime shows). Being a mom is an amazing job, but it takes a lot of care, strength, and a sense of responsibility. You have to be willing to put everything on the backburner for your kids. You have to be ready to die for them if needbe. It's a lot, and I don't think people take it seriously enough sometimes. I'm kind of selfish, so I wonder if I need to be a mother. I know my mom has all those qualities, and if I am unable to exhibit such qualities naturally, then it is not something I need to become.

Tonia Roberta in the manga they all died, but the creators of this anime made a lot of changes in the anime, and as of now it’s unknown if they are dead or alive. By the way, they could’ve easily fled with Hyakkimaru, but rather stayed because Jukai wished to die from the starting of the series, Tahomaru was almost dead because of the demon and his mother wanted to stay with Tahomaru till his last moments.

Anyway, despite a rushed and slightly unsatisfying ending I thoroughly enjoyed the entire run and I'll definitely miss watching it every week😭

I swear his brother doesn't deserve to die. The same goes for his mother. The only person that deserves this is the father but even the ending he gets is much better than what I said. He deserves to live with his failure. All I want to say is that I want his family to live a new life. As for his foster father, death seems like a good closure to him :)

I honestly don't think there is any romantic connotation to Hyakkimaru calling Dororo pretty. He called the sky pretty as well. He's seeing the world and the people he loves for the first time. And Dororo, hearing this for the very first time and who also is prideful, obviously feels embarrassed. Do siblings not compliment eah other also?? It's a little sad (and tiring) to constantly see pedo jokes about this scene while every other significant scene is analysed the way it deserves to be. Found family is a beautiful trope. Let's not reduce it to whether or not they are blood-related.
Not only that, Hyakkimaru said to a random girl in the manga she were "pretty"recently after he revieved one eye and the monk said in one of the last chapters to Dororo and Hyakkiamru (quote)" you two look like brothers" when they were arguing about something.

I feel bad for the both of them, they took the burden of their parents and face a future where they doesn't have any choice. My heart went soft when Tohamaru finally called him brother, i wish they had more time together not as enemies but as siblings.
Man all of the main characters had such good development. I just love how most characters weren't the typical super bad guy that's easy to hate.
The very first people Hyakkimaru laid his eyes on were his two "mothers". 😢
I hope the three, or at least, Tahomaru and his mom, were able to survive. They can still renew their lives. Hyakkimaru's adoptive father may have died and thus has fulfilled his life's purpose.
Nui and Tahoumaru.. This might be their way of also atoning for their sin of allowing their land to prosper through Hyakkimaru's sacrifice.. It is sad, but I can just think that Tahoumaru is happy now that his mother is giving him the love that he crave for all his life. And his mother finally able to cuddle Hyakkimaru for the last time and became a mother for Tahoumaru even in the end.
@@zurieldred4101 Their lives were sort of a replacement for Hyakkimaru's. The sadness just never stops, huh. But I guess compared to how much Hyakkimaru fought every second of his life and them dying in an instance is somewhat just right. I can't help doubt they're dead since there was no body found. It became a habit. 😆
God, Hyakkimaru's moment with his mother was heartbreaking and heart-warming at the same time.
They made Hyakkimaru's eyes look so much like his moms.
What really gets me is how much Hyakkimaru looks like a frightened child when his mother cradles him in her lap. Idk why it just gets me right in the feels-

In the anime, Hyakkimaru is labeled as 16, while Dororo's age is unknown. However, given that in the manga Hyakkimaru is 14 and Dororo is 9, it can be assumed that Dororo 11 in the anime on account of the five-year difference in the source material-Google

i got a feeling if this anime will get it's season 2 or more, Dororo will be the best build-up female character, i mean she ain't just any female character, she made a big impact on Hyakkimaru's life and, she even think mostly for both of them even tho they're not together dororo was able to think for herself and she's a fucking KID!!

It always get me mad that they decide to die there, I know they have some sins so awful, especially Jukai, but they loose an opportunity to remedy that, giving a better life to Hyakkimaru now that he has his complete body, and in the case of the mother, giving a better life to Tahomaru and trying to repair that lost bond with Hyakkimaru, and obviously Jukai being there as he is the one who knows Hyakkimaru the most.
A great anime and one I find to be the best for 2019!! Love that part "Sky is pretty, Dororo is Pretty".. Glad he got all his body parts back but sad to know he lost his blood family, but he has Dororo whom bloomed into a very Beautiful Girl!
This was such a bittersweet ending.

This episode was awesome.
Idk i just idk was a mix of feelings, it was such a satisfactory thing because of the good and happy ending, but was a kinda heartbreaking when Hyakkimaru's adoptive father (Jukai), and his brother and mother died.
And when Hyakkimaru he left Dororo, but at the same time this episode was heartbreaking , it was really touching , and happy , and satisfactory.
Its sad that so many beloved character die, his mom, his "father", Tahomaru, Mutsu and Hyogo, i really wished for them to live somewhat happy along each other, but i guess those are kind of impossible fantasies now.

I just want to write that episodes before this, Dororo call "kirei" (pretty/beautiful) mean seeing it makes you feel good/happy, which is probably why when he saw the sky and Dororo, he call them pretty.
I just think it's sweet how Hyakkimaru truly takes what Dororo teach him to heart

Though sad, I think it was necessary for Taho, Nui, and Jukai to die - though I think things would still work out with them alive, them dying kinda symbolizes a new future for Daigo’s land and Hyakkimaru in general. They tie him to when he was eaten and the tyranny of Daigo’s monarchical rule. It’s like the land and it’s people are starting anew, and though I feel like maybe that could happen with them alive, to kinda signify an end of an era of cruelty and their atonement to their selfishness they were given one last moment at the end to show their true sincerity and character, all three of them, in a way that they were able to bring closure to the past in a way that satisfied them, and honestly I’m still devastated by their deaths and it’s terrible bc in the end they were all sort of pawns in Daigo’s game and in the desperate situation. They all were able to give their final truth: Nui telling both her sons how she truly feels, Tahomaru admitting to his faults and accepting Hyakkimaru, and Jukai figuring out what he needed to do in his life and how to make up for his lack of humanity in the past. This could be the closure given for an end of the journey of Hyakkimaru and/or the prologue to a new possible adventure (and hopefully a season 2 bc the way the series ended it could be either way ngl). I hope this personal analysis kinda makes sense lol I just wanted to explore how I depicted this all lol and put it into words 😌🙌
