Having children after age 35 you are at increased risk for genetic defects. As you get older you also have increased risk of more difficult delivery. So 34 is not old but as far as having children you are almost out of prime time. Just the biological reality.
Thankfully I had 2 after 35 and they were perfect. The doctors, different doctors, both told me that I should have an abortion because they were going to be deformed or something, I can't even remember now. Absolutely nothing was wrong with them.
