    That almost potion belt consideration gave anxiety there for a bit 😂

    What I find most impressive about Baalorlord is that he almost never forgets about relics or things to set up. *oricalcum cough cough*

      He did forget to set incense burner for the shield and spear fight. They almost killed him for that. Ig he was feeling too powerful after he crushed timbo 😂

    You know the deck has become stupid strong when he doesn't even bother setting up Incense Burner at the end of most fights anymore.

    Honestly that bronze orb stealing corruption might have helped a lot that fight - it made sure corruption wasn't bottom-deck

    I forgot I watched this run on Twitch, watched it today on TH-cam and got momentarily startled when my name was called out.

      I've done something similar. I watched someone stream live on TH-cam and was in chat. I rewatched the video 6 months later and whenever I said something out loud in response to the VOD or make a joke, my past self in the chat would pop up a few seconds later and say the exact same thing lol. I didn't remember saying any of these things the first time and it was both funny and unsettling that I was so predictable.

    I always had the impression that a smaller deck = greater consistency. Hence I seldom take perfected strike. I guess that's the difference between an average player and probably the worst best player

    I remember running an exhaust/barricade deck with Itonclad once and this relic that draws random cards and I think one that gives block on exhaust?. (Forgot what they’re called)I think idk been so long since I’ve played

      @@zetton1658 Yeah, Feel No Pain (Power card) for block on exhaust and Dead Branch (relic) for random card on exhaust. The other relic that interacts with exhaust is Charon's Ashes, which deals damage on exhaust.

    I love how everyone in the subreddit is like "having a small deck is the best way to win" when the best players almost always have 25+ cards at the end of the game. Sure, it is A way to win, but your win rate will be low if you can't win without it.

    • @firmanimad
      @firmanimad ปีที่แล้ว

      I think in lower ascenscions that applies. In higher ascenscions you need as many resources you can get to get over many hurdles in many phases of the game, so no luxury to trim and tailor the perfect deck. That's why draw cards are so valuable here.

    • @SeeMyDolphin
      @SeeMyDolphin ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The important part is how quickly you can cycle through your entire deck. That's why top players value card draw so highly. Having a small deck can help with that, but it's not the only way to do it, and it makes you more vulnerable to status cards.
